Every time it seems like we've turned a corner things go tits up. It's becoming very tiresome.
I think sacrificing a couple of EL qualifiers for longer term gain is very sensible.
I don’t. We need European games.I don’t want us playing those awful LC fixtures at the start of the season again

Aye, just making a point!
Should we have accepted significantly less money from the likes of Adidas or Nike than Hummel were offering ?

His career as a pro footballer was defined by a lack of ambition (he could not possibly improve himself going through the leagues in Scotland) and as a leader of Rangers he has been non-existent on the park. Some say he has been loyal, my personal view is he has lived well within his comfort zone and is not the kind of person we need at the club now.
LW won’t get a game ahead of DJ.

I was in Leith today and came up into town after 4pm and saw Yahoos and Leith tramps together in pubs. It was a putrid sight and sums up what we're up against.
If I had to gamble, I'd say we'll finish fourth.
If we finish fourth we’ll be relying on the yahoos winning the SC for us to get into the ELQ’s

I think Cummings starting would be the kind of pick me up the whole place will need.
I really don’t know why we took him on loan as he’s started so few games.
I’d like to see him & Morrlos up front. I don’t think we’re good enough to play just one striker.

I’d be surprised if Pena played for Rangers again. A new manager will certainly want shot off him

Do you not think Jimmy Nicholl is qualified to take charge until the end of the season?
No I don't think so.

I don't think there is any alternative other than to allow Murty to continue until the end of the season in charge of the first team. All that remains is EL qualification.
But the board really must address the manager's position at the end of the season. Of all the names mentioned only Steve Clarke should be of any interest.

This perfectly sums up where we are just now. A diddy, little brand that makes horrible looking shirts.
How are they a diddy little brand ? As a company they're comparable in size to New Balance.

Not really.
We've regressed over the last month and nobody is happy about it. It makes no sense to exaggerate the problem though.
If all the good work had been undone then we would be relegated. We'd also be in a worse state off the pitch too. That's not the case so why should anyone pretend that it is.
I dont think anyone is pretending it is worse than it is but we cannot afford another bad appointment.
Some may not agree but I think there's been a gross over reaction to Sunday which was bad individual errors. The new manager needs to sort this out as there are players we've got who simply aren't good enough

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Derek Adams as a possible candidate. Worked miracles at Ross County, Plymouth promoted last season, likely playoff this season to get into English Championship.
Managing Rangers is a million miles removed from managing Ross County & Plymouth

No idea but I tried to find other sides who have a hummel strip.
Found one...Afghanistan.
Denmark National team, Strasbourg, Freiburg to name a few.
No chance of adidas or nike. They're only interested in the Barcelonas, Real Madrids, Chelsea's, ManCitys nowadays.
FWIW I think hummel is good if true. About same size of company as NB our chum's over the other sides kit manufacturers. DR & BBC Pacific quay will be looking to put a negative spin on this.

When I now look back on Sunday with a calmer head I think it has to be said that their second, third & fourth goals all resulted from very basic errors from Martin, McCrorie & Holt. Not sure how any manager could legislate for that.
Regards Young McCrorie I can't help thinking a season long loan at a St Johnstone or a Kilmarnock might be best for him just now. Like they did with Ajer.

The board have made 3 mistakes but have hardly done the same thing. Warburton was a highly thought of Chamionship manager, Caixhina was a foreign wildcard and Murty is a promoted youth coach.
I think Brentford had MW sussed hence they were prepared to let him go

The board has delivered plenty of progress on and particularly off the park.
I don't think that this 'statement' has been thought through.
Of course there’s been progress but all the good work has been undone by poor managerial appointments

Possibly within a Stevie Gerrard stumble of a Championship.
Don’t think so. They conceded too many goals that season. That was their downfall.

Whos done better than him at liverpool since the 80s?
All other Liverpool managers won at least one trophy. Brenda won hee-haw.
Klopp’s not won anything yet (since inheriting the mess Brenda left behind) but only a matter of time

How is that hard to believe? Rodgers has unfinished business down there & his massive ego would mean he’d take the job in an instant. He has worked at Chelsea before & Conte will surely be our the door this summer. I guess you’re saying Chelsea wouldn’t want Rodgers, but he is a world class manager in my opinion. They could do a lot worse, but sadly I think that is Rangers best hope at the minute. Things can change quickly in football..
World class ?? Tell Liverpool that

Our biggest problem is the board we have clearly aren’t good enough.
They’ve had 2 failed managerial appointments & there’s little to suggest the next one will be any better

Do we have a CEO?
No just a low profile MS called Stewart Robertson

Our biggest problem is the players we’ve got simply aren’t good enough. Guardiola would struggle to do any better with this squad.
I’ve said before & I’ll say again that we’re losing too many goals and two new CB’s must be top priority for next season.

Not surprising when we let Wilson and Bates leave.
Whoever the next manager is needs two quality CB's as top priority. Their first 3 goals today were caused by McCrorie & Martin

We need two new CB's for next season. We concede too many preventable goals. Both in the first half were embarrassing

Last week was mostly about individual errors which contributed to at least three of their goals.
My biggest concern about Murty is he doesn't always seem to take into account how the opposition play. Last week they had four MF players, one wide player & one up front. We were outnumbered in the middle of the park again.
Today hertz will likely play one up front & five across the Middle. Our gameplan & tactics must be based on that & ensure we're not chasing shadows in MF. And I'd like to see us go with two up front also.
