I’d suggest though that looking back in hindsight the Rangers board regret the GvB sacking then throwing 10’s of millions to a rookie like Beale

Tonight is a prime reason why the board are very reluctant to sack PC. They want a manager who can get results in Europe because it brings in much more revenue than winning the domestic competitions.

It looks like Clements patience has finally snapped with Dessers. Danilo not in the euro squad so Igamane is starting. Id think we’re looking to offload both Dessers & Danilo but that’ll be easier said than done

Perhaps he’s just sounding out who’s available in January and the manager & kloppen are ok with this. We’re badly short in quite a few positions. As I said earlier he will have plenty contacts

Gerrard won nothing in his first two seasons. Going out both domestic cups to Aberdeen in his first season as I recall. And he was given substantial funds. It was perhaps covid which saved him in 2020.

Most of the current squad will be here for a long time yet because no one will buy them and pay the wages they’re on at Rangers. If a new manager comes in he’ll have to continue to use these players because the wage bill is getting reduced & there’s little money for new players.

Yes McInnes could certainly be worse. Much worse. He has nothing in his managerial CV to suggest he’d be success at Rangers.

GvB didn’t deserve the sack IMO. He wasn’t given funds to rebuild after we sold players. Incredibly though the board did give funds to the rookie Beale

We all know the board got us into this mess but there’s no easy way out of it.It will take a lot of pain and difficult decisions over the next few seasons

I’d doubt any of those managers would be interested. most of the current squad are better than Warburton’s squad I’d agree

And replace him with who? They won’t sack him until a replacement has been identified who wont get any more out these players. shout out all you like about the manager but the players we’ve got ain’t good enough

I think Souttar has established himself since Clement arrived. That’s one positive. The Dessers situation intrigues by me. We supposedly accepted three bids for him in the summer but he didn’t want to leave. Who were we replacing him with ?

When Danilo & Hagi came on there was movement middle to front. That was missing first half

If the XI that finished the game yesterday had started we’d have won comfortably. Can the manager see this?

It was the introduction of Hagi in the second half which I thought improved us. We had someone who always wanted the ball, drove forward and tried to link up through the middle and out wide. Diomande didnt do that first half. Dessers first half was anonymous. Danilo at least give us movement up front which helped but he lacks match sharpness at the moment. Whether he’s the answer remains to be seen
