  1. Why not sign younger players ? Not hasbeens, past their best who can’t get a game at their clubs & looking for one last contract.
  2. Utter madness if we’re trying to sign both Davis & Defoe. Players in their thirties past their best with no resale value.
  3. Does Pena need a lift to the airport? I stay only 10 mins from Glasgow.
  4. I doubt if they’ll have tens of millions. Failure to reach the CL group stages with a £60m wage bill will hit them hard. Rangers winning the league this year could have serious financial implications for them
  5. Kent’s performance on Saturday will have the yahoos seriously worried.
  6. Nonsense. Lustig never once got that close to Kent in the first half.... Pity he was ‘injured’ and didn’t come out for the second half ??
  7. Rangers top priority in the transfer window should be signing Ryan Kent on a permanent deal. Not signing Steven Davis or anyone else
  8. Are Rangers genuinely interested in signing Davis ? Has there been any confirmation? I’d take him on loan til the end of season on his £60k p.w. Southampton wage then at the end of the season decide whether to offer him a contract
  9. Not sure I’d agree on that one. He’s had some fairly ineffective performances but today was his best in a Rangers jersey. Long may that continue
  10. The biggest challenge we’ll face in this transfer window is keeping our current squad together. We now have players who could fetch us decent transfer fees should we wish to sell. Proof we’re heading in the right direction at last
  11. At the start of the season SG’s top priority was to get us challenging for the title. Today proved he is achieving that & more. I cannot remember such a one-sided game against them since beating them 5-1 back in 2000.
  12. I’ve been a critic of Jack but I hope today marked the day he truly arrived as a Rangers player
  13. Much will depend how we line up tomorrow. I might be tempted to stick 4 in MF & go for 4-4-1-1. It’s vital we don’t get overrun in MF
  14. Loans are fine if there’s a buy option at the end of the loan at a pre-agreed price.
  15. Graham Shinnie is nowhere near the calibre of player we need if we’re to seriously challenge for the title. He is an SPL journeyman. Nothing more.
  16. I believe we’re allowed 5 loan-signings. At present we’ve got 3 loanees: Kent, Coulibally & Worrall. Ejaria & Sadiq have either left or leaving. That would allow us to make 2 loan signings next month should we wish to do so
  17. I don’t think we will sign Tom Eaves who is an EFL1 player. We need better than that
  18. Unfortunately I do believe we may sell Morelos next month & replace him with Solanke(on loan) & recall Hardie from Livi. My other guess is we’ll get Steven Davis on loan from Southampton for the final months of his contract there. Just guesswork. But these signings would improve us in my opinion
  19. The issue I’ve got with our 4-3-3( which is one up front & two wide men with three in MF) is that our three in MF ( other than Arfirld when fit) don’t score enough goals. Regards the three today only Coulibally has scored this season. Jack & McCrorie haven’t scored yet although to be fair to McCrorie he hasn’t had as many games as the others. Both widemen today(Middleton & Candeias) have got on the scoresheet a few times so they’ve contributed. Morelos has, of course, been brilliant but can’t be expected to do it all on his own
  20. Agree one or two players were disappointing today but I think you’re going OTT. Who have we got fit & not playing that are better than them? It will, in my opinion, take 2 or 3 transfer windows(under the same manager) until we will be serious title challengers. And there will be unsuccessful signings during this time. No doubt about that. Second half today I thought we were the better team but missed 2 or 3 good chances until they equalised. Until then McGregor had little to do in the second half
