Agree but he cost a few millions. We’d need to move on a few fringe players first but can’t see that happening before the window shuts

We can only hope that there are those in our support who will take heed of today’s UEFA action. 

We are undoubtedly being targeted whilst other clubs with similar or worse problems seem to escape with continuous fines or nothing at all.

But UEFA needs to get its priorities sorted out. These were songs. Every week we hear of football hooliganism on continental Europe. Is it going to take another major event such as Heysel to change their focus?

The harsh reality is sections of our support (rightly or wrongly ) will not stop singing certain songs for as long as the Celtic support can getaway with singing the IRA songbook unchallenged.

That will require political leadership in Scotland but there is currently no chance of that whilst the incumbent SNP rely on the vote in their ‘heartlands’

This tie is far from over.

Atrimtos also got a 0-0 draw in Warsaw last round but got beat 2-0 by legia at home in the second leg.

I thought legia were better than we were led to believe. We’ll need to improve if we’re to get to the group stages again

Delighted with result & performance today. Could have been more.

Only one wee complaint however - when shooting it isn’t always necessary to aim for the top corner. Try shots along the deck. If on target the keeper needs to save. Some of the top corner attempts were a bit wild at times...

So they(allegedly) take in £25m for Tierney & spend a small fraction of that on his replacement ??

When will they all wake up & realise where the money is going to ( or is going to go ?) ??

I wonder if, by signing Barker, SG doesn’t think Greg Stewart & Jake Hastings are good enough

Only one game into the new season & they’re falling over each other to condemn big bad Rangers after a late winner at Kilmarnock.

If we beat FC Midtjylland not entirely convinced it’ll be Legia we play. Greeks will fancy their chances against Legia no doubt 

There are obvious concerns about today’s performance but I do think Killie’s new plastic pitch needs to be taken into account.

If anything this one looks worse than the previous one. Seems to slow the game down.

Tav looks nowhere near as effective going forward without Candeias.

What’s important today is that the CB’s don’t dwell on the ball on this pitch.

Just get it into their half & keep it there. No chance of playing nice,neat football on this plastic pitch

On the plus side (and its a very big plus) we seem to have learned how to defend for the majority of games.

I strongly believe we’re better defensively when Katic plays.

Genuinely wonder about Helmand. The fee seemed inexplicably low for a current Swedish international CB

I didn’t think our performance tonight was that bad but we really must start converting much more of the chances created.

We had 3 or 4 easy chances in the last 20 minutes but couldn’t take any of them. 

We won’t get away with that sort of extravagance against better sides

Grezda was injured when he signed & never really got a run in the team. Probably best he moves on if he isn’t in the manager’s plans
