I don't like this one little bit and I don't see what is hoped to be achieved by this. It is a bit like turkeys voting for Christams. I am not comfortable with this tactic. To me it seems like something our enemies will be plotting as we speak.

I hated Ian Black when he played against us and said I didn't want him. I eat my words. He is exactly what we need for the battle ahead. Glad to see Andy Little back too.

I too am open minded about Green. If he had caved in easily last week I would have felt differently and I think he knows himself he has a long way to go to win over the Rangers fans. It looks like he is equally determined to fight the next round and I believe he would be tenacious in a fight. I think that is part of his character but previously I doubted whether he understood the importance of these matters to the supporters but I have no doubt of that now. I don't blame him for wanting to make a profit. He has been honest about that from the start. It is in our interests for the business side to be profitable and for that he needs the supporters to back the club and I for one will be doing that. He also needs a successful team and is clearly willing to spend money. I also think he will be careful with the money, which is surely what our club needs right now. So far, so good, but there are many battles ahead. I don't think he is the bumbling fool that he sometimes comes across as and under different circumstances we may have found him quite an endearing character. Underneath there is a man of steel.

I am looking forward to something different. The SPL was so stale and a formula that just didn't work. I would like to start going to some of the away games. Haven't been to an away game for 20 years. It would be a nice way to see other parts of the country and other grounds. Hope to make it a built in part of the weekend, with maybe some overnight stays as well. I don't think that we will trounce teams every week, but with the right attitude we should fly up the leagues with some decent cup runs too. I am surprised that some of our better players are still around and with the quality of some of the players coming in. Coupled with Green's hints about being back sooner rather than later in the SPL, I think some major reconstruction is on the cards.

Fantastic letter. I cancelled my Sky and ESPN in May to protest and have so far resisted their offers to tempt me back, the latest offer being 6 months free. Last contact was yesterday.

Doc, 31% of Motherwell's gate receipts came from Rangers fans. I think we are forgetting what other clubs got from our fans and how much they depended on that. The TV deal won't make up for that. It is likely to be down on what they received last year and add the losses from our fans and reduced season ticket sales and things are not looking too healthy for the SPL.

Malcolm Murray made a public statement on the club website that the transfer ban was agreed to under duress, which would stand up in any future investigation.

It was Lennon. Can't remember specifically which charge, but it was one of his. We should have a dossier of all of these things. The double standards are shamefull.

This is definitely an avenue worth considering. I would suggest doing it through a committee. It would need to be carefully worded or it won't qualify. The other factor is to check that somenoe hasn't done this already because they won't accept a similar one. We should ask for an enquiry. Whatever happened to the parliamentary enquiry into Scottish football? Haven't heard any more about that.

We need to let them know what they are up against. We are not going to be a soft touch any more. We should be bombarding the press, using other examples and showing this up for what it is. We should be ridiculing giving titles to anyone else. That's what our enemies have been doing, carrying out their propaganda in the press. Give it back to them by the bucket load.

We need to start confronting this issue as well. They have been getting away with it for years.

We must be entitled to defend ourselves! If Lennon can take a QC to defend his shocking conduct then surely we have rights too? If we don't then we need to start fighting this irrespective of their rules.

In all fairness, it is called having a different opinion. I think if you disagree, rather than attack the person, attack their argument.

I really don't think that would have been wise. Green has obviously been fighting very hard. Give him some credit. If we can appeal and take it further then I am happy because I don't think we will get a fair hearing from the SPL or SFA. If we had forced the failure of the TV deal we would have been even more hated than we are. There is more than one way to skin a cat.

I never really expected them to give up on their EBT investigation. As long as we have right of appeal we can fight it. Surely we can go higher than the SFA?

Remember also the years when they fiddled their attendance at Parkhead. If that is not cheating and tax avoidance, not evasion, what is?
