I find it astonishing that this very stupid man is a lecturer. I despair at the quality of some of the people in education these days. Since when was law taught in a polytechnic?

I agree it was in relation to the EBT but CW's run up debt to the taxman was still less than Ticketus so with an estimate debt of £1 plus CW's debt, Ticketus are still the biggest creditors and in favour of CVA.

I think we are all guessing here. My problem is that I never really "got" HMRC's reasons for turning down the CVA and this issue is only one of the questions that I would like answers to. If the expert was correct, then Ticketus would have had the final say, regardless of what HMRC thought of it. The way things turned out that would have been better for everyone concerned, creditors and Rangers alike.

I agree with you FS. I do not want us getting into bed with the SPL and hope that the brand is no more. In the past I would have seen the best interests of Rangers served by being in the top league but too much has happened to make me want to sell out to the devil to achieve that. Having said that, I will reserve judgement as always on CG's remarks until I have more info.

It looks like he was waiting for the verdict first. Would he not have had a strong case that all of the leaked evidence that was in the public domain was prejudicial to the outcome and appealed the verdict? Either way he was going to court over this. This is something that HMRC must be aware of.

Maybe he is exasperated trying to persuade the others to drop the EBT investigation .....

Absolutely and the knowledge that we will no longer be an easy target. I think the attitude we have seen since February is as a result of not defending ourselves for too long and it became common practice to decry our club and fans with no retort. Biased reporting was the order of the day. No other club would have been on the receiving end of such a pummeling. We have learned a lot through all of this and are much stronger as a fanbase. I can't thank guys like Chris enough for their contribution.

It's a no from me. I hoped at the beginning we would not be put into SFL3 but there has been too much water under the bridge since then. I would not be happy playing in any division with the initials SPL.

Turning on their own. It really is all beginning to unravel. I won't be happy til they both go. If the SPL clubs think that will suffice they are naiive. The whole rotten structure needs to go.

I don't have a problem with the creditors getting more money. I remember the shame I felt when I saw the list and will never forgive CW for that alone. I have a dream that GDS stops the liquidation of the club, all the enquiries are carried out and we are reunited with the old club. Fantasy, I know, but you can dream.

I am glad he didn't too. Last night was not about Speirs but about us. No need to give him a platform to feed his already huge ego.

If I am representative of ordinary fans then I wouldn't know if it was sketchy or not.
