  1. There's one thing for sure, whatever the reason, there is something wrong. The lad hasn't realised anywhere near his potential.
  2. Thanks, Ian 1964. The rest of you are..........funny
  3. Okay, can't stand the suspense. With my eyesight I can barely make out the banner, so who is it?
  4. Actually, what I meant was that we tear one another apart.
  5. I've just got in from a wedding, full of the joys. First thread I read is about Andy Cameron. For him substitute every single major or minor player by that I mean in the boardroom or apiring to be in the boardroom, celeb, former player, member of the management team, first team player, young player or anyone connected with Rangers in any way ...............will be torn to shreds
  6. There really is no need to call people idiots and their opinions trash. In this case I disagree with Andy but respect him completely. He is one of the most gifted writers on here. I will put it down to ignorance on your part since you are new to the forum.
  7. For me it is not about supporting government policy but about supporting the young lads, mainly, who have no hope of any prospects of a decent future at home. It is too easy to confuse jingoism with patriotism. I would have to question the motives of those who live in our country and do not support it, rather than kowtow to their opinions. I believe in freedom of opinion but they would like to deny me the right to mine.
  8. Slip of the keyboard perhaps?
  9. It must be really embarrassing for a lot of their fans. If this were the other way about, I would be.
  10. All this bickering is depressing and counter productive. We are all Rangers fans here. I know what I want but whether I get it or not is out of my hands. This will be played out regardless of what I think. I agree we need to be vigilant and ask pertinent questions, but fans groups and individuals verbally attacking each other is sickening and enough to make me consider turning my back on all of it.
  11. What about Easedale then?
  12. I doubt this statement would be accepted with no retort by the BBC if it weren't true. I would expect a response from them in the next couple of days and if none is forthcoming then it would seem to be a malicious article, in which case I would expect a formal complaint to be made by the club. Given the level of mistrust between the club and BBC Scotland, no club employee or incumbent should be talking to these guys.
  13. Well, if ever I needed anything to persuade me that I was right to distrust the current board that is it. Thanks, Bill, you have removed any lingering doubts I may have had. I actually feel like vomiting!!!!!
  14. Wonderful put down, Andy
  15. What a horrible, bitter, bigoted little man who should not be allowed anywhere near a newspaper.
  16. #retiredloyal# don't need to get up early
  17. Saw a fair bit of it. I thought there was improvement on last year. There was better movement and energy. They looked fitter and were closing the opposition down much more quickly. There's still a long way to go but this group of players is an improvement.
  18. Excellent read, D'Artagnan. Until these people are stopped in their efforts to undermine our club and support, we cannot move on, as ironically they keep telling us to.
  19. Great work, D'Artagnan. Thank you for your persistence with this.
  20. Don't forget to invite me too
  21. I cannot comprehend what is going on here. I guess time will tell.
  22. I would agree, to us looking on that their lives were drab. I was in Prague recently and you could see the streets and housing estates that were built during the communist era which can be seen all over the eastern bloc and just the sheer lack of any beauty or aesthetic value. I did have a long conversation with our guide about attitudes towards the communist era as I had seen a very interesting documentary 2 or 3 years ago about the DDR. He was old enough to remember the period but also young enough to have a foot in both camps. According to him, attitudes in the Czech Republic are similar to those of East Germans: they dislike the uncertainty of the free market and miss the security of the state providing for them and many, particularly older people, would be happy to return to their former rulers. He does not miss the corruption! Interestingly, I think the biggest building we saw was the Police HQ. I said to my other half, I could picture the thousands of agents interrogating their supects during the old regime. A bit off topic!!
