  1. Nor did I know this. I didn't access the petition through the FB page.
  2. I wouldn't have signed the petition had I known this would happen. It is unnecessary and I would prefer if people that I feel I can give my support to behaved in a more circumspect way.
  3. This statement mirrors my interpretation of recent events. I cannot believe that people are still trusting this board to do the right thing. The Easedales have the club by the bollocks. Starve them out.
  4. Beautiful, Andy. A fitting Gersnet tribute to Sandy.
  5. Thanks, Steve. Really enjoyed reading that. Sandy made the first team at the same time as I started going to Ibrox with my Dad, might even have been the same match. I just remember it was against Hearts.
  6. That is a fair comment, Rab. I couldn't bear to be let down again by a wealthy Rangers fan (and I don't mean Whyte obviously). Nor can I support the current regime who have shown nothing to suggest they are capable of turning the club around. As far as I can see we are at depressing impasse.
  7. I am so sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with his family. Sandy was one of my heroes, a terrific player and a great servant to the club.
  8. What about appointing some scouts?
  9. You could be speaking for me, except I don't have a son. I won't be renewing either.
  10. He was talking about Paddy power's share of the market, not 32 Red.
  11. The deadline will be extended because there will be a shortfall in season ticket sales, regardless of whether it is due to the manager or not. What will they do then with the review?
  12. This guy is an embarrassment and a useful idiot at the same time. An interesting window into the what the review will bring and what the fans will not be told.
  13. That's the bottom line, Frankie. Spot on.
  14. I remember a few months ago Ally saying that Walter told him it didn't matter how well he did it still wouldn't be good enough for the Rangers fans. I think Ally has learned from his master to go about his job with disregard for the paying customers and he is woefully out of touch with how the fans feel. I can't relate to what he is saying these days.
  15. They will have next to nothing of a positive nature to report or they would be telling us now. It is bad news so they need the season tickets before the review.
  16. I know who I believe.
  17. There are too many political posts that are way over my head and not relevant to the issue for me about whether to renew or not. Right now I won't be renewing for 2 reasons. Firstly, the 120 review. Unless this appears significantly prior to deadline to allow us to see what funding mechanisms the board is putting into place then I won't renew. Secondly, I will not continue to watch the dross that we have been subjected to for too long at this club. The football side needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom. If one of these doesn't happen then I am out for good. We are all at different stages in our lives in terms of income and in terms of what we can continue to endure and I am sad to say that I no longer have the stomach for all of this. The only thing I have any influence over is my own cash.
  18. Anyone with any association with the Green takeover is tainted as far as I am concerned. That is why his millions are different to Dave King's.
  19. D'Artagnan, I have so enjoyed your contribution to this forum and would hate to think that you won't be here any more. The fissures in the support are indeed depressing but I try to remain hopeful that one day we can be more united than we are today.
  20. We are tens of millions and a change of manager away from being a certainty to win the league next year and compete with Celtic the following year.
  21. Just google it and it will come up as a FB page.
