McCoist given job assurances and delighted with Ashley involvement

Think they need the money to sustain the club atm. -

They can't pay the money to terminate McCoist et alia's contracts just now. Simples. -
A share issue where no doubt they have/will line up some companies who will in effect give Ashley total control. Will be the cheapest takeover ever. Time for the fans to step up.

I think you will see from the Yougov poll out today that this is another piece of untrue propaganda from the "YES" side, more fantasy speculation peddled as fact! Check it out for yourself. It will be shown up for the sham it is eventually.

I also voted "No" and never wavered in my belief that it was the right thing for my country and would agree that there was a great deal of animosity from the extremists on both sides and I expressed my disgust at it all. I am politically on the Left which has brought me into conflict with my fellow bears over the years but I refused to compromise what I believed in and refused to change my beliefs to "fit in". The Rangers family is a broad church. I don't suggest that we forget our heritage but the peaceful, moderate and tolerant amongst us should be accepting of others' beliefs, just like we would with our friends and workmates. No-one should be harassed at a football match for their political or religious beliefs. We are in the aftermath of a momentous political drama and I would urge the OP to allow the dust to settle. There is room for all shades of opinion at Ibrox. I would ignore the ignorant online people as I wouldn't give them the time of day in my own life. The only thing I am intolerant of is intolerance itself.

Mike Ashley, dual club ownership and the 10% rule rumour
Blue Moon replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Eh no! Let's take someone else's money and get rid of these parasites. No thanks, Mike Ashley!!! -
Summer transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours
Blue Moon replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I am very disappointed that we have loaned out young Gallacher. There is no reason I can see that this young man can't make it in the first team. Totally and utterly depressing. When are we going to see the end of this car crash of a management team? -
I am so sorry to read this terrible news. Bluebear 54 was a great poster on here. What a fitting tribute, Frankie. My thoughts are with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed on here.

I am very happy with this decision. I am very bitter about everything that has happened to our club but can take a great deal of pleasure from this decision. Had it gone the other way we would never have heard the end of it. Allow me my little scrap of enjoyment

I am absolutely over the moon with this decision. Next.......justice.

Summer transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours
Blue Moon replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
That is completely depressing. He has done nothing to warrant this. -
While I agree that some of the damage done to the club has been self inflicted, much of it has not. When I was a student in the early 70's, I was made to feel inferior and classed as a bigot simply for being a Rangers fan. The process of demonising Rangers has been going on since then. The club did nothing to defend itself and highlight the "normality" of the bulk of rangers fans. To me that is what needs to be done by the PR men, go on the attack and restore pride to the club and supporters. As it stands, we are marginalized in the wider Scottish society.

Okay, Papa Bear, I accept what you are saying. I have checked Change.org's website and their method of operating is indeed to send an e mail with every signature and this is built into the system Because email is so direct and effective, when you type in the email address of your recipient, Change.org's tool delivers an individual letter to your decision maker's inbox each time someone signs! I did not expect a number of big boxes to be delivered to Ibrox but change.org's website explains alternative methods of online petitioning Many online petition tools allow you to collect signatures online, but require you to deliver the signatures to your decision maker offline when you’re finished.
-
When I signed the petition there was nothing to say that e mails would be sent, so how can I be responsible?
-
Surely there has to be intent.

I have a perfectly good sense of reality and of what is reasonable behavior. I've made my point. Let's move on.
