    Happy New Year to all Gersneters. Today has seen a glimmer of hope. Let's hope 2015 is kinder to us.

    This move shows what a low priority success on the park is to the Rangers Board. They should be chased for their lives.

    Good news. Rangers were punished for their directors not knowing about Whyte. I always said that was premature. Will the fines be returned to them?

    He was the best home grown player we have produced in my lifetime and would have made it on the world stage. I was absolutely gutted that day at Pittodrie when he was cut down. He was running the show.

    The man (Ashley) hasn't even spoken a word to us. How anyone can think he is good for our club is beyond me.

    According to Twitter he has handed in his notice. They won't be able to reject that.

    As far as I am concerned it is another nail in the board's coffin if they reject McCoist's resignation. He has to go.

    We were out all day and just before we left I had a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Rangers Lottery asking me to join up. I asked her to call me back on Monday. The problem I have is that this is a cold call and I am very wary about signing up to anything based on a cold call. Secondly, I told her I was not giving any money to the club atm but she reassured me that the money goes to the youth set up and they daren't spend it any other way due to legalities. What do you think? Has anyone else had such a call and is this normal practice? Is it right that the money only goes to the youth set up?

    I agree, Craig. This has saddened me to see such an opportunity passed over. I have not one shred of respect for the current set up from the boardroom down and definitely no faith that they are there for the good of the club. There is a very real danger that the club won't recover from this and will lose supporters like me for good. The only hope for me is that some good comes from the recent court proceedings and the possibility that the truth comes out and proves we were victims of a crime. It is difficult to be enthusiastic about anything to do with the club these days.......too many false dawns.

    I believe fraud is the primary charge and the others are additional charges.

    What a fabulous article, Frankie, and written with such pathos. It really touched me and reminded me how much I love the Rangers when all the rest of the rubbish is set to the side.
