RFFF statement - youth development at Auchenhowie proposed
Blue Moon replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I am underwhelmed by the proposal. -
Regardless of who is on the board the members will make the big decisions.

Rangers First board election: Gersnet's voting poll...
Blue Moon replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
You have just put into words exactly how I feel TB. It took me a long time to decide who to vote for and I was swithering about not voting at all. I am in agreement that Rangers First should remain as it is, although I will look at the merger plans. I am concerned that a merger will lose many who contribute to Rangers First. I have been critical in the past of the number of fans groups but Rangers First isn't another fans group, it is a share buying group, set up for that purpose specifically. I see no reason why it should need to merge, but I would be happy as an individual to join a new fans group too and contribute to that. In the end I voted for those who are thinking the same way as I am and tried to forget all the other shenanigans. -
Not if you aren't in the know like me!

I have just voted after spending quite some time thinking about it and reading about it. At the moment, I think Rangers First should remain a share buying vehicle, which is what my understanding of buying into it was about. I am happy to join the united fans group as an individual. Obviously talks are ongoing and I will come to a final decision when there are actual plans on the table. That is my considered view.

Rangers First board election: Gersnet's voting poll...

I haven't really had time to read about the candidates yet Zappa but should find some time tonight, although I am not sure if that will clarify things much tbh. -
Rangers First board election: Gersnet's voting poll...
Blue Moon replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I take it this poll is for members who have signed up for the Gersnet share buying scheme only. -
Thanks for the everything Frankie and the other Mods and the wonderful contributors on Gersnet. This is the only forum I subscribe to, largely because of the quality of writing but also because of the respectful way the forum operates (in the main). It is my first port of call for all things Rangers. Thanks also for the Twitter links. I was following many but am now following all!

I agree ian 1964. I was going to a birthday party and have had to cancel to make use of my season ticket.

Scottish Cup Quarter Final: Sat 5th March 12.30pm - Rangers v Dundee
Blue Moon replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
It was advertised on Twitter. One ticket per season ticket. A maximum of 4 in the one order. -
It is good to get an update from the club, even if we knew most of it already. I hope this becomes a regular feature.
-
I am sure the board have explored, or are exploring, every avenue to deal with this contract.

I don't like early KOs as I am up really early for work during the week but no, I am not disappointed and am very much looking forward to the match. It is one I would like to think we can play well in and win.
-
Surely somewhere in company law the directors who signed up for this are accountable.
-
Have our tickets for the game. First one outside of our season tickets we will have attended all season. Think there will be more interest in this one. Had second thoughts when we realised it is an early KO which doesn't really suit the paying fans but too late we'd bought the tickets!

Spiers and The Herald have a slice of humble pie.

Statement absolutely spot on! -
I did notice a fracas going on but returned to watching the match.

Spiers and The Herald have a slice of humble pie.
Blue Moon replied to forlanssister's topic in Rangers Chat
It has come to the situation where people are given a platform in a national newspaper and other media to attack us and to be supported by MSPs. These people need to be challenged at every turn. It is now entirely acceptable to denigrate one club and one set of supporters. I never see anything remotely resembling these attacks on any other groups of supporters or clubs. -

Football clubs ask for help to fund facial recognition technology
Blue Moon replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
The very thought of facial recognition in football grounds makes me so sad, in the same way the Offensive Behaviour in Football nonsense does. We live in a country where our freedoms are being gradually eroded. There must be a better way to end this than this overreaction. -
Rangers, the Daily Record, the obsessed and their obsessions.

They exist alright. You just need to take a look at Twitter for proof. -

Rangers' Wi-Fi providers FAIL in bid to arrest £300,000 over unpaid bill
Blue Moon replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
STV News and several "journalists" are now tweeting that the £300,000 has been arrested! Why can't they report responsibly? -
I was contacted but hadn't responded.
