  1. Lol, Rab. I can only put it down to a combination of jetlag and a nasty virus I picked up on holiday.
  2. Does the boycott of Ibrox by the BBC affect the amount of TV money Rangers are entitled to at the end of the season? Surely a BBC boycott of games from Ibrox is hitting BBC Scotland financially since we are by far and away the best supported team in Scotland in terms of viewing figures?
  3. We don't have any other option.
  4. Glad I am leaving the country on Friday!
  5. I've never really felt embarrassed by a result before this. I've felt angry and disappointed but this is a complete embarrassment. I am very concerned for the future.
  6. I am a paying member and am absolutely delighted that my money has helped to purchase Mike Ashley's shares and push the fan holding to over 10%. It couldn't have gone to a better cause. I would expect the fans to be consulted in the future but guess the circumstances in this instance did not allow for that.
  7. If only we could win the BTC now.
  8. We did the founders trail on Saturday and it was so good. Maybe future tours will include County Down where my ancestors came from too
  9. I think we are long past the point of doing nothing. Doing nothing has landed us in the position where everybody and their granny has a pop at the board, the manager, the players or fans on a daily basis. It has resulted in a cup final where our fans were taunted and our players intimidated. It has resulted in effigies being hung from the rafters of our rivals. It has resulted in the shameful displays of pleasure in the loss of life of the 66, the complete hyperbole over 2 supporters (in however many decades) being racist and the current slating of our manager. What is most shocking is that no other club has had the decency to call it out. A prolonged and sustained campaign against us has made us the pariahs of Scottish football.
  10. Superb article from Andy. This is the sort of thing Club 1872 should be taking up with the club. We have taken a hammering from all quarters this week and this racist tag will stick for a long time. Utterly depressing how inept we are as a club in dealing with these issues.
  11. I believe the takeover was completed prior to the date of this document, but thought it was worth pointing out what Withey said.
  12. Evidence was presented today. Another production- a document "relating to the sale and purchase of certain season tickets" dates 9.5.11 The document is executed by Ticketus holdings ltd - Ross Bryan signing. Also signed by Craig Whyte for the Rangers football club plc 2:17 PM - 10 May 2017 0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes Reply Retweet Like More Gary Withey accepts Wavetower would not have claim to the assets of the club prior to completion
  13. I thought he also did a very poor job at chasing the ball down. He looked very static.
  14. That was so disappointing today. I couldn't understand the team selection or the tactics and I don't think the players could either. Halliday should not be playing and I hope we've seen the last of Garner and I am afraid to say, Waghorn. They just aren't good enough. I don't understand why the manager left Beerman on his own on the left for the entire first half. I agree with many that Tav was our best player today. I thought we came into the game after half an hour and started the second half better but the penalty killed the game and a goal late in the game would have been nothing but a consolation. Remaining hopeful, I still think with the correct tactics and team selection next week, we can put their shaky looking defence under pressure and hopefully bring their unbeaten run to an end.
  15. I consider myself British as well as Scottish. it doesn't have to be a choice. I find the vilification of the union flag offensive.
  16. To hear him you would think he was on Ashley's payroll.
  17. On another note, does anyone know who the press were photographing in the main stand yesterday?
  18. I smell a rat.
  19. Really enjoyed that today. Toral was great, really made me eat my words! It was good to see the defence clear their lines. We don't have the quality to play it out from the back without getting ourselves into trouble and conceding bad goals. After the first 15 minutes I thought "here we go, back to the usual rubbish," but the second half was so different. I admire Miller but the last few weeks he hasn't contributed much and deserved to go off at half time. It was a brave decision by Murtie but the right one. Fair play to him, he has made a difference.
  20. Great article, Frankie. It is good to be reminded of all the progress we did make under Mark warburton et alia. I needed a bit of balance in viewing his time at the club.
  21. Reminds me of Kyle Hutton, RS.
  22. Unlike you I know nothing of the problems at boardroom level, but I do know the manager was failing badly with his obsession that possession was everything, buying duds, failing to bolster key positions etc etc. I am glad he has gone and pleased that it didn't drag on any longer. Next steps are critical.
  23. Nothing left to say really that hasn't been said for quite some time.
  24. I am not talking about the goal, but his overall defending. Not good enough. He's the captain and I expect better from a Rangers captain.
