I have some doubts but think it is far too early to judge him. It is obvious he is getting more out of some of the players since he came. We've also had some injuries to key players, covid issues and disappointing officiating. I think he needs at least one transfer window to see what he can do. Some of our key players are not doing it at the moment, especially Kent and Aribo. We look very average because of that. Playing so many games is having an effect too. You can see some of the players are toiling which makes the lack of subs all the more mystifying. It isn't the managers fault that we have not strengthened in the transfer window and will probably have a very limited budget next year because our stars have failed to shine and won't be worth much to us. However, the tactics, team selections and in game changes are down to him and his team and there are definite question marks about those.

Agreed.

I am actually more concerned that this is an unwarranted distraction from the main job in hand. I don't want us to do it either but let's be a bit more savvy about it.

They are deflecting from their legal problems.

I only saw the second half as we couldn't make the game today and don't feel anyone deserved it on that showing.

Tav for me but Bassey, Lundstram, Kent and Morelos (second half) were all outstanding. That was Tav at his best.

We were out with our grandson today so recorded the game but we don't want to watch the game now we are home after hearing on the radio we've been robbed again. -
There were so many amazing performances last night and I can't disagree with anything I've read in this thread. In the end I chose Morelos. He is so important to us, not just for his goals. He never gave their defence a minutes peace and is a nightmare to play against. We don't have anyone remotely like him and will struggle to fill his very large boots.
-
I am still stunned. Where did that performance come from? I was filled with trepidation before the start. To be honest we have that performance in us but our players played out their skin tonight. We had some real heroes on the park but to a man everyone played their heart out. The team selection was correct and the switch to 3 at the back worked well for us.

Spot on Bill. I have never got over 2012 and I never will. I have not a single shred of regard for the clubs that shafted us, supported by a bigoted press who have changed a little in personnel but not in their hatred of us. The only comfort I take today is that 55 is killing them and I have no doubt we are on the road to full recovery and 56.

I am not doing this one. Couldn't really make out who the players were at times so can't really say.
-
That's what I thought.

I will be honest and as much as it pains me to say it I would drop McGregor. I think his failure to come for high balls, dominate the box and come off his line swiftly is causing unnecessary problems in the back four. He is slow to play the ball out too. I have no doubt we will miss his amazing saves but there are so many things he is not doing.

In terms of the bigger picture, we obviously need a rebuild. Some of Aribo, Kamara, Kent or Barisic will fund our future rebuild (I exclude Morelos because I don't think he will go). On that showing today and for the most of the season so far we won't get a fraction of what they are worth. That is a major concern. I think the manager and his staff showed tonight how little they know about Scottish football. Their tactics aren't working. I have my doubts and I hope I am wrong but I don't think it is going to work out. Personnel and tactical changes are desperately required in the team. -

I am the eternal optimist and think we have more than enough to beat them. -
The manager needs to sort out the midfield. Until he does we won't improve. His tactics are also far too negative and are inviting teams onto us. The best thing we can do is attack at pace. We are lousy at defending and before somebody points out stats to me the weaknesses are there for all to see. Stop playing into the opposition's hands when we have all these creative, talented forwards.

I am gutted for Ianis. Poor lad. Hope makes a full and speedy recovery.
