  1. Why have we not asked for security in the last 30 odd years season tickets have been about? Because the contract is 18-19 games, end of. And that's just stating the facts, especially when you get a decent number of people every year looking for seat transfers. Not everyone's seat is 'poxy' to them.
  2. Would rather not have our players in there but well done to him
  3. And that's why i'm dead set against it, if anything it can just get you out of the habit. I doubt i'd go every week if I didn't already have it all paid for and a regular seat.
  4. That's a fan website btw so while it looks fairly certain neither club has confirmed it
  5. Have to be honest and say that I found Smith very over hyped even at that time, injuries didn't help of course so you never know but excellent isn't really how I remember him.
  6. I didn't actually say that but one of the digs we kept getting in the summer of 2012 was how we'd all drift away and Ibrox would be near empty. I'd rather keep proving them wrong
  7. The line about an empty stadium gets worse every time I think about it. One of the main ways we showed we were the same club was the stadium not being empty
  8. Apart from his walking away soundbite which admittedly I loved myself, I don't see what positive impact he's had during these times. His response to our treatment has been to say how pleased he is for Hearts and how Turnbull Hutton is a brilliant guy.
  9. Well presumably the security would be for the whole season until all home games have been played, but imagine having this fuss every renewal time?
  10. Fair enough, but do you think running a restaurant makes him anymore savvy with our situation? I don't think the likes of Gough and Amoruso are doing anything more than hanging on King's every word
  11. Why do you want them back if you don't think we need them to win it mate? We've wasted too much cash as it is
  12. I'm not about to argue we're in a good place but at the same time it's very dangerous to believe we should take a nuclear option simply because things can't get any worse, they clearly can. Failing to get three consecutive promotions would be a disaster for one regardless of who is in charge at the top. The only way 'starving them out' guarantees that we 'get our club back' is if the fans actually bought the club themselves, not withstanding that i'm against fan ownership we clearly don't have the organisation or unity to even attempt it. Otherwise you're simply relying on Dave King stepping up to the plate and assuming no more hedge funds will get involved, because bear in mind any forced sale of the club would still be an open auction. You go on about ending cycles but we could end up in a never ending cycle every season of people calling for season ticket boycotts until King or whoever the next blue knight is eventually gets in, meantime we're going no-where on the park. As for the last bit, well I don't think the Glazers are in it for the love of Man Utd. The debt levels are a problem but they've certainly prospered on the park until this season.
  13. I ask again, how do these schemes guarantee what you have in mind? Even going along with the thought financial difficulties would force the current regime into a sale, what if more 'hedge funds' buy us? Exactly what is the next move then? In the meantime we'll be stuck in the lower leagues for who knows how long after a 25 point deduction next season stops us getting promoted.
  14. He's entitled to his opinion, I think he's very misguided and nobody should be more influenced by Amoruso than anyone else he's no more a businessman than most of us.
  15. So it won't be an official Britain saved celebration dinner then. Apologies to any aye voters.
