  1. There are reasons to mis-trust Green granted, but to compare him to Whyte makes you sound like a drama queen FFS. Give it a break man.
  2. He once opposed me - but I've ruled myself out due to family commitments.
  3. No, what you will find GS it that when we do get one YOU can trust, there will be another barrowload who will take up where you've left off, and we will be reading daily about how they've not to be trusted. And on and on the tedius side of being a Rangers fan in these modern times will continue.
  4. GS, I thought you said on the other thread that you already know beacuse of your "contacts" in the know. Why would you have to wait unless you were guessing like the rest of us.
  5. GS - unless you want to be known as BS give it a rest. You haven't been proved wrong - fact. You haven't been proved right - fact. You don't have 'in the know' insider contacts - fact. You guess the same as the rest of us - fact. Give it a rest - please?
  6. All those vultures circling - be careful what you wish for here. I'm not championing the CG cause, but I'm certainly not wringing my hands like an auld wummin with some gossip to pass on.
  7. No you haven't. You've made guesses like the rest of us. Don't get carried away.
  8. So might Charles Green.
  9. What do you base that on? Can you enlighten me as I profess to know diddley squat really what he has done since his arrival?
  10. What does this means for this 'Plan B' that they had of SPL2? Was that only if it was the SFL vote that scuppered it?
  11. Exactly mate
  12. Run that by me again? Even if he is found guilty of nothing you want him run out of town and "hung out to dry" because you don't like our trust him? This fucking hyprocricy is beginning to drive me up the wall!! Is that attitude not exacty what we have faced for the last year and more? If he is proven guilty of nothing will you also shout "fucking cover up" and put your head in your hands?
  13. The guy wasn't fucking wrong. Green has actually been found guilty of what exactly? Saving our Club when no other 'blow hard' could come up with the limited amount of cash being asked for? Give me a fucking break!!! If he is guilty then I will castigate him like every other Rangers Man. The last time we let 16 year olds have their voice at The Club, 200 of them stood outside the Main Stand singing "Greig, Greig, get tae fuck"!! Yes, this is the same guy we later voted the greatest Rangers Man ever. He was a bad manager but should have been treated with more dignity. Let pups loose with any banners they like and we end up a laughing stock with no class. And fuck the 'democracy' arguement! Democracy only starts when you are 18 for a reason. How many holding that banners are 18? We should have more class than unveil 'guilty' banners (torn bedsheets!!) before any trial. Is that not what we have been fighting against for the last year? Any coincidence the guy is a bit older? Well done mate - I would have joined you had I been there!!
  14. Because they know that another season of trying to pretend that all is well is a bridge too far. If they could squeeze this through they could paper over the cracks for another year by heralding a new beginning and praying that Rangers come up in successive seasons in time to really save their sorry asses. But iif it doesn't go through they know that this dead horse they have been flogging (and trying to cover up) won't last another year - it may just lie down and be unable to get back up again.
  15. Exactly - Murray must have been wearing a Dick Turpin mask when picking up his wages. Our scouting system has been nothing short of scandalous. Glad he has gone. Let's see some guys in who know the world beyond our shores as well as genuine local talent. What were Murray's credentials exactly apart from being an extremely average jorneyman of a player for the Club. So no more talk of "who are we going to get with experience in his place?" please. I will not miss nobody that CG has 'released' and anyone who says otherwise is using it as a flag of convenience for an already established 'anti - Charles Green' agenda. If you will miss any of them tell me why!
  16. Exactly - lets act with a bit of class in the Rangers way, rather than trying to scrape the barrell in the 'one-upmanship' stakes.
  17. I'd prefer if we showed a little bit of dignity and thanked the teams that have accepted us and allowed us to start our rise, rather than act like all the matters to us is silverware, no matter how shite we are or who we've stepped over (struggled to get by?) on the way. Just a personal thing.
  18. Right Ally - if just winning the thing was priority 1 (i.e. couldn't take chances with formations etc) lets see what you really want to adopt as a style of play. For the rest of the season I will gladly accept drawing 3-3 rather than 0-0 if you attack as a team and stop leaving our front men\man isolated. But I will hazard a bet that we won't draw 3-3 etc, we will win most games 4-1, 4-2 etc. And in the process you mat get some of the fans back that have had enough of the last few months. Personally I am so glad we didn't win it 'real time'. We didn't deserve to. It saved us the embarassment of not knowing what to do as fans. Winning a league title watching utter dross to be honest. I would like to add that the young lads have given it all they've had in the main. The last few months have been fucking shocking to say the least. It's McCoist, Durrant, McDowall who, if they were at school, would be asked to re-sit their 'football tactics and acumen' course this year!
  19. I've got no reason to doubt your word mate. In the same way that I know about Numan. One thing I would say is that Jiimmy C's reputation in Scotland isn't great as this country is great at believing in the carricature i.e. the fake tanned, baw scratching, rather then the facts i.e. the Dutch technical guys rated him highly, and he is a good people manager. A Govan Jimmy (with Dutch training), an Ulster Jimmy (with top level English experience as a player), Arthur Numan (recently turned out the best U-21 Dutch squads in years and a Dutch legend on a World scene). And Brian Laudrup (because..........well he's Brian Laudrup FFS !!!!!). With those guys in someone tell me we would still produce the stale shit that we are guaranteed to produce as long as our 'stale trio' (gives me no pleasure in sayng that) are still in charge.
  20. That may not be a bad shout, but I definitely want Arthur Numan in there after the brilliant job he did with the Dutch under 21s. I can tell you for a fact that he was gutted that Rangers never offered him anything before that. He would walk over glass to get a position.
  21. Personally I don't want to hear from you again Ally until you either say "I'm stepping down to give the Club a chance to find a manager who can move the Club forward" or "That was a fanstastic display, and that is the standard the fans and this Club deserve". Unfortunately I believe I won't hear the latter from you Ally . I think I will need to hear the former before I hear any manager utter the latter.
  22. Personally I think the Club should plan carfeully how we treat the title win rather than everybody standing about on the day not knowing what to do. I think if they try to blast out 'Championees', 'We Are The Champions', etc I will struggle to get up for that being the Div 3 title won with absolutely no style or conviction. Maybe it's just me. Personally I think it would be more befitting if it was celebrated as the first step of 'The Rising' and a bit of planning put into what is played over the PA system to suit.
  23. I think you've hit the nail on the head here Frankie. I've always had something knaw away at me with our youth progress\set up\scouting system\ academy etc. I think I've just realised what it has been all along - utter lack of transparancy! Over the last year the doors have been open to the fans on pretty much everything, from the cleaning staff worried about their jobs, to the players thoughts on an unsettling time, the thoughts of the management and board on those players who walked out. And we have a Chief Exec who wants to tell us everything down to what he had for breakfast. But the one subject that causes friction every time it is discussed is our youth and scouting policy. Every now and again one of the young sides wins a cup - and hey everything is just dandy. And then you read the next week that our young sides are getting royally humped by Hearts, Queens Park etc. The subject causes friction because nobody knows what the hell is going on. In the past we may not have needed to know just as much, as we were able to go out and spend to cover, But now it is our lifeblood and the building blocks of our Club, not just for 3 years but potentially for the rest of my (and your) lifetime. We need information, we need hope, we need to become as familiar with that set up as we are with our underperforming first team. Time to open the doors further down Rangers.
  24. No other manager in our history would have survived his record, and don't forget that it started before the 'troubles'. I've held back from saying it because I hated watching John Greig go through it as a manager - please go Ally, you are holding back the Club you love. We are not talking players off form. We are talking about tactics (or lack of) that belong to 10 years ago in Scotland. We are talking about players 'hiding' with no fear of retribution. How many times do we get told that "I've told my players I won't accept that level", only to find that the players won't accept Ally's attempt at authority.
