Wait a minute. I get the message to stick to the original thread, which is fine. But what I do take offence at is the 'gossiping' comment. Read my posts and tell me what resembles gossiping. Happy to take it on PM.

Personally speaking, I take people as as I find them, and although I don't know Chris personally I have always found him to be an extremely likeable guy and an excellent, and articulate ambassador for our Club. I personally don't give a toss whether he is RST, TRS, UVF, CIA, MFI, but maybe that's just me. I see a Rangers Man first and foremost and that is an excellent starting point for me when I'm forming my judgement. I don't granulate 'Rangers Man' into factions.

From what I could see Chris eventually had enough, after trying the diplomacy route for as long as he could, before 'fighting' back. Even then he didn't reach the levels of some who were attacking him. he was not the instigator and I'm willing to bet he would be happy to return to diplomacy for the sake of uniting the fans. I'm not confident his detractors would.

We don't appear to be though. It seems to depend on the forum. Fairly unanimous over here from what I can see, but over on RM for example there's still lots of anti-King stuff. That's the problem - as a support we can't agree on anything these days. On RM they've even turned on Chris Graham (and being pretty personal and nasty in the process), which is something I just don't get, and it makes me despair how easily we can implode as a support.

I'm sorry but if you live in a deprived environment, and you are suddenly whisked off to the Bahamas for a break, the last thing you want to do is write or talk about the deprivation you just came from. This latest piece of garbage was just another spoonful out of his ego\obsession soup.

No pal - you are missing the point. On a couple of counts. Is it not getting chilly up there in your Judgemental Tower? -

Should we give up our 9 in a row then 'cos half our team fitted that category and I can vouch for that as I saw them often, but you'll let that one go I suppose??? -
Rangers board to decide Malcolm Murrayâ??s fate

Get off your moral high horse buddy. There but for the grace of God and all that...... I actually knew a lorry driver who had suffered the same kind of accident as MM. and all it took was one too many on the wrong night "with not enough to eat" as MM stated and he was all over the place, but I KNEW it wasn't all drink related. I'm not saying he doesn't like a drink when he shouldn't, but you people who judge others at the drop of a hat stick in my throat. If it wasn't for a few photos from the Daily Rebel and that snidy little prick filming him, how much would you be concerned about MM the nortorious "alky" . "Nor am I in my 50s"??? What the f### does that mean in the context? He's in his 50s so he should be home in his slippers FFS??? I'm not an MM defender but I believe you should never judge a man until you've 'walked for ten moons in his moccassins'. -
Rangers nicked the SPL title in 95-96 with stars they couldn't afford
Anchorman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I heard that actually. You could see it with the Legends game with Man U. He looked really healthy and played a stormer. I keep meaning to try it  -

That's right Pier. Nothing to do with the fact that you were unable to get past The Goalie from point blank range or with penalties. vicTIM mentality - everyone else's fault. -
Don't know but it sounds bloody raunchy.

For what it's worth - to the world of Rangers fans who really can't be arsed with the 'Dan Brown' and 'John Le Carre' side of the Rangers story we eagerly await the outcomes and decisions of events, rather than gossip, audio tapes, video tapes and rumour so that we can get back to football and move on as a football Club. And as far as I'm concerned I'm waiting to see what Green is actually guilty of that would shock me as a Rangers 'football' man (shafting Whyte in business doesn't shock me in the slightest. It pleases me if he has). If he is guilty of something more then hang him out to dry, but until such time...

Who is the female with BS who obviously knows that BS won't take too much offence when she says she "would like to fucking punch" MM? My take on that comment and the fact she says it to BS is that she is well aware there is no love lost between BS and MM.

Jon Daly set for Rangers move after medical
Anchorman replied to 54andcounting's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm not saying it's the way I would be doing things if I was our manager, but I think he will be very effective for where we are, and I will give him my full support. -

I don't know why but I just get the feeling this big fella is going to do a job for us in more ways than one. On the park I think he will bang them in for fun. It's the whole Irish Tim thing that will show that mob up once they turn their venom on him for letting the 'cause' down. I honestly can't see the boy getting anything other than support from us if he is producing the goods, while I can see them going into meltdown trying to find a way to discredit him signing for us. Remember "Mojo was a publicity stunt (although it don't stop them trying to set fire to the stables at the back of Souness' house in Edinburgh when he was letting Mojo stay with him for a while). You will never sign a proper Tim". Then they gave Neil McCann dogs abuse playing for Scotland in Dublin. They will shoot themselves in the foot. Just give them enough rope and they'll hang themselves (although maybe I'm being naive given this country's press coverage of such incidents). I don't expect to get the usual 'fuck off he's an Irish Tim' on this forum, but in case it's on it's way - I'm not one of the PC brigade who preaches love for all. I was young at one time in my life and couldn't handle the thought of a Tim playing for my Club, but when Mo J,Neil McCann, big Ammo etc hit the back of the net I realised it was my Club I loved, as opposed to a dislike of anything, and I cheered them as much as I have cheered anyone in a royal blue jersey. -
You do realise that the lack of response is down to suspicion due to the current climate at our Club, and recent leaks with board members joining message boards etc? Anyway welcome on board Malcolm and anything you hear on here stays on here eh?

Judging by various forums we seem to be a severely fragmented support at the moment - more than I can ever recall. There was a brief spell last year (blink and you would have missed it) when we were united and I felt then, to quote Bob, "everythings gonna be alright". But now.................. While we are so divided we make the job so much easier for our enemies, and I feel very sad to say I can't see that changing any time soon. I agree with what you say Frankie but we need to get a 'seige mentality' created amongst our support again, which creates the type of infectious energy needed to rally our troops into 'fight back mode'. As we stand at the moment we are being rolled over and allowing our bellies to be tickled.

Alastair Johnston: there's a cancer spreading through Rangers
Anchorman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Sometimes you have to go with instinct, and for me AJ always left me feeling that he only wants the best for us (like Dave King). And shoot me down if you like about how "he was there when......., and how he was part of...........", etc. He has NEVER purposely done anything to undermine or harm The Club. He may have made mistakes, but a fairly astute judge of character once said something along the lines of "let him without sin, cast the first stone". I always see him as very grounded with a bit of class, which is something we are sadly lacking in, among the suits at our Club. -
Rangers chairman Malcolm Murray to 'contest' removal attempt
Anchorman replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Is he any relation to Ewan ? -
So basically Leggo's call to arms is 'get behind King or major problems ahead' (which I don't have a problem with)?

Marvin Andrews: Nicky Clark would be a star at Rangers.
Anchorman replied to 54andcounting's topic in Rangers Chat
I'll tell you what - Big Marv would have been perfect last year based on his Legends performaces. He wins everything that comes near him. -
I think King will be playing a very astute game of poker. He's been around the block a number of times more than most and 'out foxed many a hound' along the way. My money (and hopes) are on King. Doesn't that name even have a ring to it for our Club - rather than Green or Whyte?

Article from today's Sun (yes, I know) re Malcolm Murray
Anchorman replied to SteveC's topic in Rangers Chat
It's just pathetic now, and I don't know if The Sun even get how ironic their story is. It reminds me of the old Monty Python sketch where the guys are lost in the jungle and the guy says "we are stranded here, all alone", and then someone says "but if we are all alone who is filming us?" Then it spans round to the camera crew filming them....."OK we are all alone apart from that camera crew, but wait a minute...who is filming the camera crew? OK we are all alone apart from the camera crew, and the camera crew filming them, but wait a minute...........".
