  1. GS why do you encourage his trolls? He has had the same answers a million times. He can't be that thick. He is obviously trying to wind up.
  2. You don't have to wait if you think he is irrelevant. Just ignore him and any threads about him - easy.
  3. On that basis everyone is this situation is irrelevant then. I don't see anybody matching words with action at the moment. You literally have NO idea (nor do I) what he is working on behind the scenes at the moment. Another complete guess on your part.
  4. Is that the best you can come up with? Seriously? In your answer (1) you state "No idea" then go on to tell us that the previous widely quoted are inaccurate. In your answer (2) you give the reason for the judge describing him as the richest man in SA - "I think SARS just wanted a conclusion to the case" And that would bring it to a conclusion how? And for your information SARS were the last ones trying to bring it to a speedy conclusion. It was them who turned it into a war of attrition. So wrong again. Then you went on to respond exactly in the way I predicted - "Why doesn't he buy us now then"? Which has been explained to you a million times. As I say - tedious, and factually utter bollocks as well.
  5. That sums up (is that an oxymoron? Does 0 + 0 = 0 constitute a 'sum'?) what you actually do know about the man. You have had the answer to every question you've ever asked about him answered by LOTS of people on this board. You ignore all responses every time. Just answer 2 simple questions: (1) Roughly - what do you estimate the value of his assets to be? (2) Why did a judge describe him as "probably the richest man in SA"? My guess is - "why has he not bought us then?".
  6. You STILL don't answer my question about the worth of his assets alone e.g. vineyards etc. Your logic is built on sand mate. You know very very little about the subject matter of King's wealth, but you have a lot to say on the matter. It is tedious nonsense as I've said. I'm not arguing about Kings recent conduct. I'm arguing about his "lack of wealth" that you keep harping nonsense about.
  7. Rab, do you have any idea how tedious you get banging this drum? "Otherwise he would have bought shares......." says Rab for the 5000th time.. "I think his wealth is only in the tens of millions" says the bold Rab for the 5000th time. Rab, I won't ask you what you base your utter tripe on. What I will ask you (AGAIN) is what you think his assets alone are worth? Lets start with his vineyards. You regurgitate the same cack so many times that it makes joining these conversations boring as hell.
  8. I would agree that it may have been fed by 'someone', and that the key question is 'why?' it was fed, but I still believe that it is 100% utter bullshit as far as reality is concerned.
  9. Now that you mention it, I was talking to a taxi driver, and...................
  10. I repeat - a complete load of utter bollocks. We've become so paranoid as a support (with good reason) that we would actually swallow it if the BBC came out and told us that the Knights Templars are behind Laxey and Blue Pitch Holdings.
  11. Personally I think McCoist lacks in the necessary management skills to nurture young talent, and I think he knows it himself. He wants players who need little or no management\nurturing, much in the same way as his mentor, Walter, had with his sides. Miller fits that bill.
  12. I don't know if it has been said before, but could it be a quick response by the board to the red 'protest' top currently being sold?
  13. Would have been fractionally funny if he still looked orange but he doesn't. The man looks proud to wear it - good enough for me. He may not be everyone's fit but by God he gives 100% and doesn't tolerate laziness round about him. Good enough for me. Also this is a guy who twisted England's first choice central defender inside out at Wembley recently. I actually hated the idea of buying him 2nd time as I thought he was a dud, but he rammed that down my throat. One of the few guys who knew how to go to Breezeblock Boulevard and wear the blue jersey with bottle. He is a winner. Good luck Kenny and welcome home.
  14. Unless he has already signed - remember Daniel Cousin. I won't bank on Miller signing just yet. In fact I have my doubts.
  15. Yes - let's just keep it as it is. Why change a winning team - eh?
  16. With all due respect you don't know anything about the guy's character or history to come away with that. If I am wrong and he doesn't have a major impact before the season starts PM me and I will give £50 to the charity of your choice. Looking for nothing in return.
  17. Looking at that list the furthest journey seems to be Dumfries. It's like a local league. My son's amateur side travels further. Saves on 5 star hotel bills this year at least.
  18. Couple of thousand at most was the last I heard, but nothing official.
  19. So many season tickets have been sold in the past because it was 'what you did' every year and also an element of loyalty when the Club was down. Very few, if any, were still buying for the entertainment value. It was very much a habitual thing for a large number of us. You had your budget fixed every year to allow for it. A huge assumption is being made (IMHO) that everyone will come back if the boardroom mess is sorted out. I have major doubts about that. You see, I don't believe everyone has put the money aside for that eventuality. I think the poor uptake on Dave King's fund supports that theory. I don't think it was a mistrust of DK. People just want to see something for their money - instant gratification. Very few working class folks have that money to simply leave lying in a 'limbo' account. I also KNOW of many who were seriously considering giving up the STs due to the perpetual lack of entertainment year on year. Taking that step to use the money for something else, e.g. a large contribution towards a family holiday, has been a huge decision for some. But like with anything habitual in life, once you break it life goes on. After a few months........if there is nothing there to entice you back.... I'm just interested in whether anyone believes we will hit the same heights again in sales? I firmly believe that boardroom change wouldn't be enough to win the people back.
