  1. Grant Russell ‏@STVGrant 15m15 minutes ago Easdale: "We've not spoke to Ally yet so we don't know the situation. He's made his resignation known." Utterly bizarre.
  2. But Frankie's comment was in agreement to my comment, which was about the comment in the article itself.
  3. Anyway - still no word on any meeting? Has it been confirmed for sure that one is actually taking place? Anyone on Twitter?
  4. So where does that fit in with the article above? - "With McCoist gone, who do the fans turn to and put their faith in? Who can they be sure is acting in the best interests of Rangers? I've already stated he had (a bad) influence on what happened on the playing side. When was the last time he had any influence other than that, which is why I don't agree with that element of the article.
  5. To a wicked deflection on a shot that was going wide at that!
  6. "With McCoist gone, who do the fans turn to and put their faith in? Who can they be sure is acting in the best interests of Rangers? You see, I don't buy that line. McCoist has been powerless. He couldn't even stop his own PA being shown the door. He has been putting bad teams out on the park and playing ugly football for some time. He has had no powers whatsoever to assert any other kind of influence that I can think of.
  7. On reflection I have been a bit unfair, and I should have PMd instead. It was the first chance I had to vent my frustration at driving all that way and hearing nothing of the Q&A session, but as has been pointed out, technical glitches can and will happen at these things which are often unavoidable. The event had the makings of a great night had it not been for the speakers. Big Jorg Albertz was there, along with Charlie Miller and Derek Ferguson and the guys all stopped for a chat quite freely. And the music being played on the night was 'tasteful' (especially when the doors were opened out to the street). I was very fortunate to chat to big Jorg at the very end of the night after his autograph signing session. What a big gent he is. He spoke about how happy he is with life at the moment and his football academy back in Munchengladbach. He even had a great sense of humour when I asked him if he felt guilty about giving Peter Van Vossen such a shite pass, which caused him to miss the open goal. I'm sure the speakers will be fine at this one and it will be a great night.
  8. I know a few 'brutal' guys, but they've never worn gloves that they have to take off first. Do your brutal guys do that? :box:
  9. I've always been confused with that comment, because a boxing man would say "time for the gloves to go on". No?
  10. I suppose .........
  11. Is it crap then mate? You are usually pretty much on the pulse.
  12. A fiver is peanuts when you're just popping out for the night. It was feckin annoying cos I drove 50 miles from where I was working to be there and heard nothing. It's not the guys fault I know. But I was just having a wee tongue in cheek gripe about the speakers.

    Who then?

Mate, you only appear every now and then (usually late at night), but when you do you leave us with so much to think about with so few words. Thank you.
  14. I'm not having a pop mate. I paid my money to hear the man. I couldn't hear a word is all I'm saying. Neither could anybody in the bar. I know you try your best which is why I said nothing on the night but a lot of guys did. Do me a favour though with the "to see jorge anywere else it would have cost at least £15" comment. It's not the Beatles we're talking about.

    Who then?

I hear what you are saying, but even in our prime I always thought a clean sweep was just a hopeful. When we were just 2nd best, but still had a good side I would have said "no chance".

    Who then?

2nd biggest is a million miles from 2nd best sometimes and in our case it is. If we win the Scottish Cup alone I will donate £100 to your favourite charity - promise! My money is safe though. The quadruple comment wasn't your best SC.
  17. I hope your speakers are working better than they were on the Jorg Albertz night. After paying a fiver none of us in the main bar area heard a single word because the speakers were broke. Only the ones through the archway in the wee snug bit could hear anything. Everybody in the bar just ending up talking while the guests were on. Luckily I managed to get speaking to the big man for a while at the end which made up for it.
  18. I keep saying it. Go back to post #15. Nobody is saying he should shut up about the board. It was about support of his pal!! Nothing more.
  19. Thank you. So going back to my original post (#15 of this thread). Just shut up Brown just for once about how good a job your pal is doing. He is not. He is the worst manager ever at Ibrox.
  20. So to get back to my point (see post #15 of this thread)..........is John Brown right in his support of McCoist of the manager i.e. that he is doing a good job? Simples.
  21. The point I'm making though is Brown's utterly predictable statement is support of McCoist the 'manager'. The situation off the park is not the cause of McCoist's utterly woeful technical management skills.
