    I'm not denying the quote from Gough. It's your theory that, because Gough is an acquaintance of Dave King, then King would keep the current management team, that is a bit OTT. I doubt if Gough would even keep them himself if pushed, despite his 'pally wall' comment about his buddies. These guys aint as stupid as that.

    McDowall looked scared today and out of his depth, and its not a nice position to be in. But that comes with at least trying to take a bit of responsibility. Durie just looks like a fucking coward who wants back to the under 20s 'job for the boy' with no responsibility. Any sign of togetherness for the bigger picture of 'The Rangers' in that picture? None!!

    I will say it again. McDowall doesn't want his job. Durie doesn't want his. Durrant doesn't want his. And McCoist doesn't want his current position. The board IMHO were well aware of that before they made the appointments. I'm convinced they are trying to sicken them so much that at least one of them walks.

    I thought I would start a fresh thread on this as it is starting to be discussed on other threads. An independent panel was set up to investigate the Sunday Times' claims and they came to the conclusion that there was a case needing investigated officially. Now here is where 'others' put their spin on it. Dave King and other high profile tax case protagonists have done nothing wrong here. and are not under any new legal investigation at this point. [As I read it] in the articles I've read, this panel have urged high ranking SARS officials to set up a unit to investigate themselves. But furthermore evidence seems to be appearing that the SA Government have been aware of this unit for quite some time and may actually have sanctioned it. Bottom line for me is that Dave King (and others) will not lose any sleep over this whatsoever, and there is absolutely no chance of Dave King being restricted either in his movements or business while this rumbles on (if it does!). It will take years and years for this to come to a head, or it will just go away. There is no story at the moment regarding Dave King and this issue. Unless of course you want there to be (Jack?).

    To be fair - how many replacement managers do you know, who have come from within the existing Club structure, that say "this is a crock of shit and I'm going to fix it"? Even though they most certainly have their own ideas.

    Is it possible that the board are trying to turn them all against each other. Think about what it must be like between Durie and Durrant now? They get Kenny Mac to tell Durrant. The mistrust and discomfort in the corridors of Murray Park must be tangible. Think about that in any work place. I would have chased Durrant long ago but he must be thinking what did Durie do to get that. Divide and conquer (get at least one of them to walk)?

    Pictures can be deceiving but if this one is anything to go by Durie is looking none too happy, and Kenny Mac doesn't look like he is asking him what he wants for Christmas.
