  1. In a nutshell, as manager - none! He knows it and so does DK.
  2. Not really. He has always been a loner despite some comments on here about his "unhealthy affiliation" with certain people (utter bollocks). He will work for Rangers greater good, so he will be 'easy' for them to work with. It's the best outcome I think. because while it is all for the greater good of the Club no one faction can have it all their own way. It's healthy.
  3. Well said that man. Maybe that rainbow over Ibrox today, 2nd January, did have some significance after all. http://willievass.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/020115-Rangers-memorial/G00003INdoTAoGG8/I0000HDRvnzwKwUI/C0000Mi60eSnIIiU
  4. And you wonder why people get annoyed with you. Grow up.
  5. Can Admin amend the title of the thread?
  6. Keiron Prior owns in the region of 2.5% doesn't he? I would reckon he is more likely to back the trio over Ashley\Easdales as well.
  7. You're rubbing salt into the wound.
  8. Mate, you only have to look at our results when he is not in the team. The one piece of creativity we had in our make up, and he's gone. Personally I'm gutted. I hope the boy does well with you, as he is a good, modest, grounded lad to boot. Which is more that can be said for some in our squad. BTW, can you recommend any hotels in Brentford? I'm down there in a couple of weeks on business.
  9. Brown is only one rung of the ladder above Black in terms of quality and leadership. "Excellent enforcer"? Is his tackling that much braver than Blacks? Both kid-on hard men. Ask Neymar or Charnley if they think Broony tackles 'like a man'.
  10. What utter garbage!!! Black trots around like a show horse, but never actually breaks into a gallop. 100%????? :D
  11. They are as hard as my first shite, which is the joke of it all.
  12. Never thought I would see the day when I agreed with Charnley.
  13. Is yours actually a legitimate question?
  14. A Newcastle phoned in to Colin Murray today to talk about Ashley\Pardew etc. The fan was talking about Ashley and how he will always take in more from player sales than he pays out for new players, and that Pardew had probably gone as far as he could under that mentality. The guy says "you can bet any money you like that Ashley wont pay for a 'grade A' manager to take us to the next level". They then both agreed that it wouldn't be overly surprising if he approached McCoist with the job offer, which would get rid of the headache of buying him out, especially if he took backroom staff with him. Could it happen????
  15. You have no sources for what you are trying to insinuate here. You have no idea whatsoever what Dave King's moves (forget 'Kingco'. The OP was about King himself). Nor have I because nobody can can close enough to him, not even your 'sources'. The thread is actually quite silly, and based on 'King knows Gough. Gough likes McDowall & Co. They like Ally. Walter brought in Ally.' Wait a minute, Ally is pally with Alan Stubbs and John Brown, and he played golf with Neil Lennon recently. OMG. Neil Lennon at Rangers???????? Get King to fuck!!!!!!!!!! I will leave you to it mate.
  16. The link isn't working for me. Is it still OK for others?
  17. Which brings us right back to the original point - there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that Dave King would do what you fear. I'm very confident that he wouldn't.
  18. Hildy, anyone who actually even suggests they are close to King are talking utter bollocks. If the guy is renowned for anything over and above making money, it's not having people close to him. Especially people that you or I would know. He is renowned for going it alone. I'm not trying to have a pop at you. As you say, we are all entitled to our opinions. It just does my head though when people treat King like he has appeared on the scene recently and could be a potential chancer. If he wanted to take the Club for money he could have done it many times in his time there. People also forget that when Craig Whyte managed to get every other board member out the door, Dave King was the last man standing telling everybody what was about to happen to our Club.
  19. Complete and utter unsubstantiated scare mongering Hildy. Why though? What is this King camp that you speak of mate? Can I make a wild guess here (apologies if I'm wrong) - but I'm guessing you don't even remember Dave King? I've noticed a lot of 'younger' fans bracketing King like another 's##v out to make a fast buck out of Rangers, purely because they don't know the guy any more than they know Craig Whyte, Charles Green or the Easdales. Your comments about his 'closeness' to the current management, McCoist etc is utter garbage, based on nothing. You suugested the same on another post, got adequate responses to refute that accusation. Yet here you are making the same point again. Can you pick up the responses made the previous time to save people repeating themselves . Thanks. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?67515-The-Last-Seven-Days/page7
