  1. Was thinking that very same thing myself. A wee song about the stadium being a legacy in memory of the 66, and how we will defend it at all costs, would be very welcome while she is at it.
  2. Compo, you should have asked for a full-stop for your Christmas mate. I lost my breath there. :p
  3. Hope to God you are right.
  4. Bumping my own post admittedly, but have they succeeded? Did McDowall walk without being pushed?
  5. I fear it might not be beyond this lot.
  6. Not wanting this Old Firm game on his CV? A lot more to it than that I suspect. Durie looks like a rabbit in the headlights, so I don't see him being in charge. What a fucking shambles we are.
  7. Are you honestly comparing unsubstantiated attacks, lies and slander by Phil 3 names, McNally etc with the events in Paris. FFS no wonder we are free game for anyone fancying a pot shot!!
  8. This is where I show my complete ignorance on corporate matters, but I will ask anyway. If T3B or Dave King had bought these shares would it not be something that they would want to make public to apply pressure to the board? Or is there some kind of confidentiality clause involved?
  9. Not a chance in hell that T3B would accept that.
  10. Mr Gilligan would be just the man for that job!
  11. I've run out of civility with you and your constant efforts to belittle people if you don't agree with their responses. Pathetic actually.
  12. Where did dangerous driving come from? Do you know what...don't bother. I try to enter into civil debate with you, but you just cant help yourself. Argo!
  13. That can be an option if your offense is excessively over the speed limit e.g. you have been clocked driving over 50% of the national speed limit added to the speed limit itself, and you have previous driving convictions. For example if you have been doing 76mph or above on a 50mph road.

Surely you can only make your move when you have a high degree of confidence that you have the 51% or when you have no choice but to play your last hand in the poker game that we have? Although Ashley's £10m loan against the stadium etc could be seen as a master stroke by some, ironically it may well be the move that backfires against him most, as it could be that move that swung the vote in the 'good guys' favour. Before Ashley made that move nobody could really be 100% sure of the percentage of the 'supporters' vote that would go the way of King and 3TB as our fans are so divided and fragmented on so many fronts. The backlash to Ashleys 'Ibrox' move was so strong and united the fans in such a way (that previously seemed unthinkable) that it could have been the catalyst for the confidence to call the EGM.
  15. I will be pulling the chain on my live TV showing for fear of violence (self harm).
  16. "SARS being under investigation will have no bearing on the SFA ruling". I'm not so sure about that. It is an unprecedented situation. I'm quite sure that if the SFA were to take a hard line against King, his legal team would go into overdrive against the SFA by suggesting that they are accepting information from what could prove to have been a highly corrupt investigation. They could argue that King should be deemed fit and proper until those investigations are over. Granted the SFA could take the 'guilty until proven innocent' approach regarding DK and the SARS corruption case. (This is all hypothetical though as I think they will pass him fit and proper anyway). Because he is not the figurehead doesn't mean there would be a lack drive for transparency. I don't get that point. As has been pointed out, the lack of transparency at the moment in regards to Sandy Easdale is not down to his position. It's down to the person himself and the people his is clearly working with. I can understand where you are coming from, but I think it would be totally different if the good guys got in. There would be enough strong key people on the board to be accountable and ensure transparency.

Surely there is a major gamble on both sides here? A lot of concentration is centering on the 'good guys' risk. Both sides are staring into that 'cloud' that is the 'unknown' element of the shareholders and praying like Big Marvin for the majority of that vote. As it stands (albeit pre-Toxic spin going into a smearing campaign overdrive) you would have to say the 'good guys' stand more of a chance because of the fans' vote. OK Ashley will tie up his contracts so that he makes money regardless of the outcome, but where does that leave the Easdales? I don't reckon they will want to take this all the way to the EGM, and take the risk of having to walk away, with their shameful heads bowed, and absolutely nothing to show for it but ridicule for evermore. They want to maintain credibility in their lives e.g. their shipyard bid. Would they still hold that chance if they lost an EGM and got booted out the door? I've just got a feeling that they will hold on to their seats like grim death, and give ground prior to an EGM.
  18. Yes he can. There is no connection between the two. If King was considered 'not fit and proper' by the SFA to run the Club, but then took up a position that did not contravene SFA regulations then he is not breaking any 'law' that I can see. He is also entirely within his rights to pay for a legal team to investigate irregularities in the books, so long as the legal team are given access to those books by whoever has had SFA clearance as 'fit and proper'. If I had previously robbed a bank (not that DK fits that bill), then done my time, would that exclude me from complaining about any wrong doings against me for the rest of my days? All hypothetical of course as he will get SFA clearance. His case is even stronger now while SARS are under internal investigation for corruption (Kings case included) on a grand scale.

I really think this is make or break. There is no plan B that I can envisage. Admittedly corporate warfare isn't my forte.

Any reason why King had to call it? Couldn't it have been T3B?

I don't see the SFA having any issue whatsoever with PM. Does that theory suggest that none of the old guard can return, even if they were outspoken regarding Whyte at the time? Remember that would include Dave King. They would have no valid reason for stopping PM.

He also said his honesty isn't in question, but you are choosing to ignore that. I haven't answered the question? Would that be "Is he untrustworthy, abrasive, unsophisticated ... what? " No - question answered.

Strange choice of words to take from what has been posted. Bluedell actually states his honesty is not in question. "Sub-standard"? Whats that about?
