  1. We all know that KM is not going to drop his\McCoist's boys to accommodate these guys, so a few weeks pass during that impasse. Then Durie\Jig\Durrant say they wont either and another couple of weeks pass. Meanwhile Hearts get further out of sight. The final nail comes when the board say "we are calling the shots on the park". With who as the manager? A bigger shambles is looming imminently.
  2. Glad to see a lack of 'point scoring' on here. What an experience for the kid, and his dad who must feel awful that he couldn't protect him. I would have felt exactly the same had it been the other way round, as I'm sure we all would have. Personally I would like to see the wee boy get 'special visits' from both sides.
  3. Ashley will have that base covered off.

    Why???

I imagine we will never see his face in parliament TBH.

    Why???

That is the scenario that nobody ever really mentions. Probably because it is the least likely.
  6. Every time he gets a Rangers asset he eats a cake.
  7. I'm getting a bit fed up with the 'good guys' fighting fair while they complain about the big bad street fighter kicking, head-butting and using every 'tool' he can get his hands on to win the fight. Was any of it really unpredictable? Are they really so naive? You also get the impression Ashley hasn't even started. Depressing. Are his sales and marketing people terrified to tell him nobody will buy strips etc, or does he know something we don't? Or is he just so determined not to lose a battle because of what it would do to his reputation? I don't get it.
  8. I've looked up 'entertain'. Trolling wasn't in there.
  9. You dont half talk utter keech

  11. You are going way off track here. Nobody was saying it wasn't effective. I am saying it wasn't pretty to watch - full stop. Counter attacking with speed? Please don't say that's what we did in that Uefa run - you are having a laugh. The only time we looked like a decent counter attacking team was in Lisbon. Please don't compare our football at that time to the great Ali and The Rumble in the Jungle - there is no resemblance whatsoever. Muhammad was coming to the end of his career at 32. Foreman was a killing machine and was only 25. He had knocked Jo Frazier down 6 times and beaten Ken Norton in 2 rounds. Doctors advised Ali not to take the fight and even his own ringside 'cut man', Bundini Brown, begged him not to take the fight. Nobody had it anything other than a total mismatch that should be stopped. That effort by Ali that night is one of the greatest ever sporting achievements, and he didn't just park the bus. 'Rope a dope' had far more tactical genius involved than that, in the way he applied his defence, knowing the physical danger he was in, faced with the sheer brute that was Foreman. I don't recall us being faced with any 'mismatch' of that magnitude.
  12. Not any old politicians it has to be said. Brian Donohoe, with Adam Ingram involved as well. The Westminster Rangers supporters bus have gone into action.
  13. Yes it was!!! You have selective memory. 90% of that journey to the final was because we 'parked the bus' and managed to sneak a goal at the other end. Tell me one game where we played flowing football. Sporting Lisbon away was probably the only acceptable performance.
  14. Sorry mate - you sound as bad as them, and you are playing right into their hands. Why cant you laugh at them with this pish?
  15. He isn't go to be manager under the current board. Full stop. 100%.
  16. He has already stated which side he is on.
  17. I say - leave them to it. Says far more about them. I cant even get angry its that pathetic.
  18. This has happened a few times recently down south, only for the bookies to be wrong. All because one or two guys bet crazy sums at a decent price. It's only to give the bookies time to take stalk of the price they are offering. If nothing happens in the next week I will bet the Magath's odds are back at only slightly less than what they were. Bookies suspend betting on football a whole lot more these days because of dodgy Far East bets and tip offs.
  19. Stop it. We sound like them when we start this nonsense. Leave that to them. If we are close enough where we can blame the ref I will be relieved and astounded.
  20. I regrettably don't think the referee will be the deciding factor in this game. I can see no result other than a royal thumping unfortunately. Our players have shown no guts for a battle especially if we go a goal or two down. I fear they could cave. IMHO sadly.
  21. The majority of them, if not all, want Rangers back, but not in the old dominant confrontational way. They want us back in a defeated brow beaten fashion - just able to survive, enough to give the Scottish game a lift, but like a wounded lion that they can prod and goad every now and then. It would also feed their appetite to watch this great club getting 'put in its place' fairly frequently, especially by the 'romantic, unblemished' Selik. The one man they fear would bring back the old fire is Dave King. Speak to their fans. He's the one man they fear. I don't know why 100%. But they fear him like no other nonetheless. Maybe because he would be here for good and they know he doesn't do things by halves.
  22. Maybe I'm being slow, but for what?
