  1. I stopped reading after that silly comment. Read my responses first eh before you join the 'gang'. Parity you say? Associating his article with Jack Irvine just because it appeared patronising is balanced criticism? Give me peace!!
  2. Fair enough. Maybe I'm a bit more defensive because I know him, but the Jack Irvine comment was uncalled for.
  3. Does every article have to have an agenda? The guy was asked to do an interview to give the fans an insight into the man behind the suit. He answered what was put to him. He didn't contact the paper and say "Ive got an exclusive". They contacted him. I've heard so many times over the last few years to White and then the Easdales "prove you're the bluenoses you say you are". Then John comes out with a harmless interview and get slaughtered. What the point? Where did I say that? The point I'm making is people don't know anything about him yet feel that slurring with with Jack Irvine association is warranted. Comment away but at least save him from a kangaroo court this early.
  4. Why the need for that? I know John and he certainly doesn't need to impress anybody with his credentials as a bluenose. The guy is speaking from the heart and is certainly not trying to bullshit anybody. As for the comment about Irvine --- not even worth responding to - cheap inaccurate bullshit. The guy isn't even in the door yet and he is getting this from fans who know jack shit about him. What chance have we got???
  5. Fitness Coach Jim Henry (geb. 06.04.1952 ) You've just added 10 years on to his age. Jim is approx 53.
  6. Not very pretty on the eye at times, but revolting? A bit strong http://www.parikiaki.com/2012/01/sotiris-is-back-playing-in-the-premiership/
  7. In my view Mr McColl has come out of this whole mess looking like a lightweight and an empty barrel.
  8. I think people are getting 'petitioned' to do death these days, which is why there is a slow uptake. I don't necessarily think it's the content.
  9. He slows the game to walking pace and allows the opposition all the time in the world to regroup. No coincidence we have upped the tempo in the last 2 games. His free kicks are abysmal - either can't clear the first man or they hang in the air so long that it makes it impossible to do anything with them. For a so-called tackler his tackling is very poor. He never penetrates the opposition with runs or decent balls in behind them. His Holywood long balls out to the wings put the winger under so much pressure as the ball is in the air for so long. Before anyone jumps on the bandwagon - this is nothing to do with Ian Black the person. He is just a very very mediocre player in my mind.
  10. Must admit I never came close to thinking that - not even once. I see nothing in him as a player.
  11. He's also very touchy. He barred me from his Twitter. All I said was: (to the tune of the old Slade song - My friend Stan) Our man Stan is a funny old man, oh ye. Beats Ulrika one night, Then McCoist puts him right, oh ye.
  12. The fact that our fans sing certain songs is not news. It has been brought up plenty of times ad nauseam. The same as fans in England making (gas chamber) hissing noises at Spurs fans, Spanish\Italian\East European fans being outright racist, and even the other Mhob and their glorifying murdering scum terrorists. The alarming and bizarre thing in this one is Collymore's targeting and venomous obsession with a particular Club outwith his own country. Very strange.
  13. Twiiter from (recorded phone call): Chris Graham ‏@ChrisGraham76 26m26 minutes ago Board waste money on Buodicca Proxy trying to get votes from unsuspecting bears. Bears slaughter them. #WinTheEGM https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6879328/alexfull.mp3 …
  14. Oh well - he's just blocked me on Twitter. Sums him up.
  15. Wow, I'm glad I don't go to that 'financial expert' for advice. "Just do what you think mate. Toss a coin, 'cos I can't make up my mind."
  16. I've just realised that I didn't vote for the removal of James Easdale. Admins - that was a mistake, because I meant to vote for his removal.
  17. I'm curious about something. Did you watch the Dave King interview last week, with Paul Murray and John Gilligan (If you didn't I think you were probably the only Rangers fan this side of the Zambeze River who didn't)?
  18. Tim Sherwood just took the Villa job.
  19. To me there is a wiff of snobbery under the covers of that post, I can't help think there was an element of 'looking down the nose'. Apologies if I'm wrong but I don't think I am. The 'super salesman' comment is quite insulting, and a pretty shallow jibe if you ask me. Even when John was back in his S&N role he was involved in hospitality within Ibrox and he worked very closely with Sandy Jardine. (BTW Sandy worked with John at S&N before getting a role back at the Club. Just a salesman though eh?). John was very successful at his job because he knew how to deal with and treat people. He made a lot of friends and contacts accordingly. He was also very successful because of his marketing skills. Add these marketing skills to the fact that he knows the Rangers support inside out, and why might end up with some decent marketing that the fans can relate to, as opposed to Semi-Final T -shirts etc. Rather than just being a good salesman, John has a number of strings to his bow, but maybe the 'working class' man on the board doesn't suit all???
  20. When I say he has always been a Rangers man, I don't mean a 'Rangers Man' in the true sense, in that he will defend the Rangers name at all costs. He favours Rangers over other sides is basically what I mean as he grew up as a fan. However I agree with what you say in that for a bag of silver he is happy to stick the knife into us like the rest, when it suits his payroll master.
  21. Aw wee soul. And I don't mean wee Derek 'the Llamb'. I mean the wee arsehole who spun this nonsense. When you read it, it transpires the "Glasgow city bar" was a hotel. And given that the 'Llamb' only frequents 5 star hotels I would suggest the physical intimidation was somebody beating him to the free nuts on the bar. Jack, you seem to be more on your high heels these days than on your toes, 'cos your spin is woeful.
  22. I honestly don't get how people don't see it. When he slags us off he comes across like a frustrated fan.
  23. Gary Ralston? I thought that was Wyatt Earp!
  24. It is him as well.
  25. RANGERSRAB, I believe you were telling us how all 5 had played at much higher standards previously?
