  1. I think you might find you are wrong there, but hey ho another reason to have a go at King! Result Rab eh?
  2. Surely we would have learned by now that 'empty barrels make the most noise'. They are actively doing their business behind the scenes and will tell us when there is something tangible to report, rather than spout moonbeams that they can't live up to like has been the case with previous regimes. No news can be good news.
  3. Much ado has been made of this, even though King and Murray actually spelled it out as clearly as they could when they came in. They stated they would rebuild damaged relations with the SFA. He was never going to do anything else but go through the F&P test. Talk of 'storming the palace' with no consideration for the SFA is just plain bonkers.
  4. Thanks for the advice mate. Very helpful.
  5. Oh by God, I don't think anyone could say the bold Rab hasn't been entitled to his opinion on this one, over and over, over and over, over and over, over and over, over and over, over and over.....................
  6. So we are back to the beginning without you answering any of my questions - not one. Why are you suggesting that he should have 'stormed the palace' and ignored the SFA? We know you don't like the SFA but........bearing in mind what you think of King.......it's a bit like someone living under the Pinochet regime hoping that Idi Amin storms the place.
  7. Is that your response. Dear dear. Would you be happy if he didn't get passed?
  8. I hate feckin rumours
  9. Why today Rab? Why today when there is a rumour he has passed? You've had shed loads of time to make this point. Answer the question (Yes or No only please) - will you be happy if he is passed?
  10. Hmmm..................that was what I was thinking. Don't like rumour.
  11. Is there a particular reason you are taking this view on the day that it looks like he possibly may be passed (if rumours are true)? You wouldn't be preparing to attack King from a different angle by any chance i.e. because he worked with the SFA? After all this is a man whose credentials you have rubbished as long as I can remember, yet you are now saying you would have liked him to ride roughshod over all SFA authority and stormed Ibrox in 'coute de ta' fashion. Strange inconsistency. Are you saying you wanted him in there then?
  12. I will await the official line before throwing my hat in the air.

Did I mention narcissism as well? I didn't read it as being directed at you. It was directed at anyone who has been guilty of such behaviour, to which I openly admit my guilt of failing to be civil and on topic. However please try not to mix some home truths with provocation. Your twisting of words doesn't help. My last comment on the matter!

No respect for your word is calling you a liar? Really? Nice twist on that one. I have no respect for your word in respect of its presentation. I do find your attitude condescending, pious, arrogant at times and laced with some kind of snobbery. To put it in more layman Glasgow terms, you are what I would always have known as as 'blow hard' who is so far 'up himself' that you are out of touch with the real world on the ground.

You have no idea where anybody else on here has 'been' or what we have 'done'. I know what he has 'done' and believe me, I don't have him as one of my archetypal heroes. I prefer mine with more humility. So if you feel you want to doff your cap to him then fine, but every else has the right to condemn if they see fit. I have stated in my last post on the matter why I have no respect for his word.

Are you seriously defending the ability of the SFA to 'think on their feet'? It's those type of condescending comments that make me angry when I read your posts. You come across as such an officious, egotistical snob. It surprises me not a jot that your life has been spent on boards and committees. It still surprises me to this day that people who spend their life in that fashion still think they are the only ones who would know how decisions are really made, and that us 'plebs' are unable to work out the clandestine machinations that go on in decision making. That was your point, and you know full well.

You know fine who he is talking about so give it a rest. And yes, that's the one thing that pen-pushing, egotistical officialdom, on a power trip, tend to be good at - producing documents and spouting from them ad-nauseam. Ask them to think outside the box, and apply common sense occasionally, then they show themselves up for what they are. Oh and one other thing - are you really trying to say they document all private conversations amongst themselves as well? That's where their clandestine decision making really takes place. Enjoy life in your naive bureaucratic bubble.

I can understand where you are coming from, but he is not going away. Full stop! He is in constant communication with John Gilligan and Paul Murray. He is as focused now as he was a few weeks ago. Don't forgot that DK's default personality has always been to shun the limelight and get on with his life and work. And the fact that he actually lives in SA, and has no intention of moving over here. He can do what he needs to do very well without being a public figurehead.

No they don't! What is your definition of being 'booted into kingdom come' in this case other than wishful thinking and dramatic effect? That is the farcical thing about this whole thing. King has already stated categorically that he will do what he has to do whether he has a blazer on or not. Being the director is just a 'nice to have' in his eyes - nothing more. Maybe that's why he is stalling in the negotiations with those utter clowns (and their little power trip - isn't that why half of them are in there anyway? Little Hitlers) - he is refusing to beg because he has never done that in his life (and is not about to start for that shower of imposters), certainly for something he doesn't need to go about the work he will carry out. If there is anybody or anything being 'booted into kingdom come' in this situation it is the SFA's notion that they will\can change the outcome (they may win a skirmish, but King will win the war), and also the notion that people like yourself have, that that King will disappear under the 'power' of the SFA.
  21. Walk in on Regan sitting on Lawells knee feeding him grapes
  22. Exactly - "The investigation is not directed at Sports Direct, any of its directors or employees. The police were seeking documentation which might assist the investigation." Really????? If that was the case that it was all amicable, why not send down a couple of CID to ask politely for sight of the files? Yet the account of one of the employees is: “But when I tried to step outside the building at around 11am, I was told I couldn’t leave until a full search of the premises had been carried out. “One detective said we could go into the canteen while the search was ongoing but people wanted to know what was happening so we stayed there." Hardly sounds like an amicable arrangement.
  23. Has King may be 'tipped off' that they are about to reject him? Speculation obviously, but could explain his lack of urgency in the matter.
  24. Wouldn't bank on it with the SFA.
