    Not spoke to him or my dad, will give my old man a phone later on but i very much doubt we could afford him. We'd have to go close to 10 million to get him regardless of whether he wants away or not. His words were 'someone would have to double what we paid for him' We dont have that money

    I want him to go, but only if there is someone better going to come in. I dont think the likes of Davies would take us forward and candidates like Mowbray wouldnt come as i think he'd want a crack at the premiership. He should be given this season and if results/tactics dont change and we are losing ground in the league, he should go.

    How fast the mighty have fallen. European finalists now out of Europe and facing an opening run of fixtures that could see us well behind in the league come the end of August.

    Nah i defo couldnt handle Eck being back at Ibrox, just wouldnt work. Smith needs to get us off to a flyer with players brought in to spice things up a bit. He needs to drop McCulloch, Dailly, Adam, Broadfoot and sometimes Whittaker and play young boys. Wouldnt do any worse in my opinion

    Doesnt deserve to play every week but still will as he is one of Smith's golden boys. Needs to make huge improvements in terms of overall contribution to games, if it doesnt happen, give a youngster a shot. Just doesnt deliver enough. I thought he would be great for us as well but it hasnt materialised

    Got it from quite a reliable source though, so i have no reason to doubt it. Im sure its something that happens quite a lot with players in La Liga that they get get out clause's with various stipulations attached if they want to leave
