How is that a horrible altitude ?

If Newcastle are prepared to help us bolster our squad during the Transfer embargo by loaning us players of good quality, in return for first refusal on any players that we are moving on, then bring it on...we have nothing to lose.

We still need a good squad regardless of what league we are in, 24 players have left since January , how many have been replaced ?

They don't, but we would have the benifit of having them in our squad during the next year or so , remember the transfer window closes for us in a few weeks time and will be closed for 1 year.

As long as they pay good money for any players they have first choice on then I don't see it as a problem, in-fact that is the way ahead for our club, produce good talent and move them on for a profit. The Dutch have been doing it that way for decades and have still managed to sustain good quality teams. A link up with a club like Newcastle could be good for us.

I thought a feeder club meant we produced players and shipped them out to whatever club ... feeding them talent . Newcastle would be loaning us players, not us feeding them .

The number 12 jersey is meant to be retired, I think they forgot about that .

A bit off topic but did anybody notice what jersey number Sandaza wore today and against East fife ?

Falkirk away is a good match to judge where we're at, a win would be a great result and show we're going in the right direction ... a defeat would strengthen your view that Ally is a dud I'm looking forward to the tie.

On a side note.. I went into one of the sport direct stores today ( paisley ) and noted they are selling our home top at £ 37 for adult size and £31 for kids. I was going to purchase 3 kids jerseys untill I saw the price, totaling £ 93. Fuck that, I will get them from the Ibrox megastore and pay only £ 60 for 3 kids tops.

In many ways the words of the great Bill Struth ring true for me, 'chosen not manufactured' I was introduced to Rangers at a very young age , as were my own kids and I never had an option to support any other club.

The big striker scored 18 goals in 43 games for Kilmarnock and 10 in 22 for Hearts. Not a bad SPL goals per game ratio. If he can hit some form and keep fit, he will bang them in for fun in the SFL

Ha ha My comment was a bit tongue in cheek and wishful thinking. I think we have some hard work to do before we can mount a serious challenge for the top honors again. A few more signings would obviously help and how quickly Ally gets the team to gel will determine if we can challenge for them this season. Also I have never been a big fan of Sheils but he will do a good job for us in the SFL.

A few more SPL standard signings and we should be serious contenders to win the Scottish cup or league cup....maybe both

I would love to see standing area reintroduced at Ibrox. Bring back the old EE .
