I had a great day at Ibrox today, I enjoyed the atmosphere , and was happy with the performance. Most people around me seemed of the same opinion. Does that make me less of a Rangers supporter than you ? Should I not call myself a Rangers fan ? The baiting of people on here who want to support Ally and the team is disappointing.

Can anybody remember when a young Ally McCoist first came to our club, he never hit it off with the supporters in the beginning, there was one match at Ibrox, against Dundee, the fans where frustrated with Ally's bellow par performances and let Ally know, the whole Copland road end belted out in full voice 'Ally Ally get tae fuck'... He never got to fuck though, he stayed and done a job, he became the clubs greatest ever goal scorer. If the fans calling for Ally to 'get to fuck' that day had got there wish Ally McCoist would never have been around long enough to go on and become the Rangers legend that he undoubtedly is. The man is a born winner and I wouldn't wright him off as a manager just yet, despite the obvious alarm bells ringing.

McCoist later put out a statement saying that him and Green are singing from the same sheet and wished Beattie well. Sounds like Beattie was a little bit bitter about rejection and tried to stir some shit.

I think Beattie said something along the lines of 'Ally wanted to give him a contract but CG pulled the plug on the deal, and notified him the deal was dead by text. The article was post on here a few days ago .

I don't think the poster did say he was happy with yesterdays performance, I'm certainly not happy with yesterdays performance but i'm not going to start calling for Ally's head after only the 1st league match of the season, or be too concerned about the poor performance at this stage of the season, especially after having no pre season games and having only 2 weeks to put a team together. There is evidence to suggest you could be right about McCoist but i'm happy to give him another few weeks to get the squad and team sorted out before I start passing judgement, lets see where we are at come September with regards to our squad and how the team is performing.

I don't think that's what he meant, more he's not going to get upset over a drew with Peterhead in the first league match of the season because he's confident we will go on and win the title anyway, and he's just happy we are back playing and talking about football. Nothing horrible about that .
