No, the people hiding behind the keyboard and using it to attack our club need to be exposed.

From the UB web site Anti Bill Miller Banner - Statement Tuesday, 08 May 2012 It has came to our attention that a rumour has started claiming that the Anti Bill Miller banner was the work of our group. We would like to confirm that this banner was NOT the work of the Union Bears and is not associated with our group in any way. Union Bears - No Surrender I think if people are going to brand sections of our support racist's they should maybe make sure they point the finger at the right people .
-
To be fair the Union Bears put a message on their web site and facebook page saying that the anti Miller banners had nothing to do with them . They did not make or display them.

The recklessness of the SFA/SPL has triggered the self destrutction button for Scottish football....Is there really anyway out of this process of destruction for our game ? I can't see one, the loony's really have taken over the asylum

Rangers eye move for Hearts hero Ian Black
TheWeeBlueDevil replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I think every squad needs a black type player and IMO he is definitely a player who could do a job for us in the SPL . Obviously discipline could be a problem but thats when you can see a managers real worth if he can get the player to channel his aggression. Unfortunaltly the embargo means it probably won't be Rangers he ply's his trade from next season .. Or fortunate some might think -
Great attitude , i hope the boy stays and develops into a gem .

Rangers newco 'will not avoid' SPL sanction
TheWeeBlueDevil replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
This guy Doncaster almost sounds excited about putting the boot into Rangers again .. Basically saying even if Rangers newco they will continue the witch hunt . -
Got this from RM.. Investors revealed http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/football-news/article/2776607 CHARLES GREEN has revealed two of the names involved in the Sevco consortium taking over Rangers - and he has insisted that interest is growing daily. Speaking exclusively to RangersTV, Mr Green has identified Indonesian businessman Jude Allen and Middle Eastern lawyer Mazen Houssami as two of the key protagonists along with a Singapore Family Trust who are part of founding group of investors. However, since the takeover news broke last weekend Mr Green has been inundated with requests to join the consortium He told Blues News: "I can now provide two names, as I have clearance to do so on their part, of investors who are on the list. "One guy is Jude Allen who is an Indonesian investor and the second is a lawyer from the Middle East Mazen Houssami. "These two are very prominent in their areas. It's a great opportunity for us to build on their experience, their connections in those regions because we want to take the Rangers brand into these areas. "There are other names but for today they are two very prominent businessmen who are backing the football club "And in addition to these two previous names there is also a Singapore family trust. "The reluctance to reveal investors initially was because a lot of these investors are offshore trusts and individuals who didn't want their name in the press and media because they, like everyone else in the world, have been watching the Rangers story unfold through the media since February and indeed before that and these people are not publicity seekers. "They want to invest in the football club for the right reasons and the other problem is that we have got an extensive list of interested parties and that list is growing daily. "Since the announcement was made we have had a number of people who were not in my original contact list and some of those are local people that we are speaking to. "We have visitors today at the club we had visitors yesterday - all of whom are interested in becoming investors. That's great news for me because first of all it shows there is a belief that this club can be rescued. "We read articles that the forecasts for the club were misleading. To be honest we have looked at these figures and we have made our own assumptions and we have made our own assessments and we believe we understand this club. "Perhaps egotistically we believe we have the ability to resolve these challenges. We have viewed historical numbers as a guideline and we have to set our own budgets. "Unfortunately for us we don't know if the CVA will go through. We don't know if we can get the transfer embargo overturned and these two things to have a material impact on budget. "So we've approached this with complete flexibility and we have approached it on the basis that this not a one-year or two-year deal, this is a five-ten year plan. "So I have to balance which of the investors are going to be best for this football club. "I can assure fans that it is very easy to raise money, even in this financial market we are in, for an institution like Rangers. Raising the real best type of money that's going to help us expand the club, develop the club in the Asian markets."

Fans' chief: Rangers must fight SFA ban to ends of the earth
TheWeeBlueDevil replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I think a fit and healthy thriving Rangers football club would be worth more to investors than selling off the bones of a dead giant . Im no expert but thats my take on it . -
I think Green is stuck between a rock and a hard place ... Yes our fan reps giving what has happened with previous owners have to ask questions and we all expect answers . I think Green on the other hand will want the backing of fan groups and knows he will get that by answering questions positively, but giving the sensitivity of the take over bid and that investors and potential investors may have asked for confidentiality then there will be questions that Green simply can not answers at this stage. Breaking any confidentiality agreement could result in potential investors walking away. Did Green confirm 20 investors at the original PC or was he simply outlining his future plans that are dependant on a CVA being agreed ? I think he said if we go down a newco route then some of the investors could walk . He confirmed 6 investors at last nights meeting i believe the rest could be sitting in the wing waiting for the club to emerge from administration before committing to a deal , and if bound by a confidentiality agreement then can we really expect Green to unmask tham at this stage ? After a CVA is agreed or newco then IMO Green will be more open to questions and in a better position to answer. Lets just secure the immediate future of our club and move on from there .

Fans' chief: Rangers must fight SFA ban to ends of the earth

I think they are in it to save Rangers, get the club back to the level it should be at then sell it on at a profit. What else would they be in it for ? -

Shame they didn't feel the same way about making an example of that unremitting foul mouthed slanderous bigot and out and out arsehole of a man who resides in the cesspit of hatred across the city . Just a side thought. -
How would the 12 month signing ban affect a newco?
TheWeeBlueDevil replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
If that's correct and i believe it is then why should the existing member club have to re-apply to join the SPL ? If it's still the same member club and punishment is carried over to the newco ( if that is what road we are forced down) then surely that kills off claims from the darkside and some among our own ranks that a newco would not be the same Rangers football club as formed in 1872 . -
Has QC Keen made any statement about last nights farce , i would like to hear his take on proceedings ?

Please don't buy into the Scottish Cup final protest nonsense.
TheWeeBlueDevil replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
IMO That is the reason why the SFA held the appeal 3 days before the final . They wan't us to turn up at Hampden on Saturday with the world watching , when it all kicks off it will be our support and reputation that gets torn to shreds in the world press , puplic opinion of anybody who may sympathize with us will change and another victory handed to the SFA scum . it's a lose lose situation and will play straight into the hands of our enemys . -
Nobody really knows if Naisy will stay or go, at this point he is probably unsure himself how things will work out. After the results of the appeal and CVA are known then things will become clearer. IMO most of the current squad will stay, other people will disagree and say most of the squad will leave. Its all just speculation and opinion, ofcourse the mhedia monkeys will put as much negative spin on things as possible . It's going to be a bumpy summer but IMO we will come out from all this nonsense in decent condition and be ready to mount a title challenge, im pretty sure Naisy will be part of that . Wishfull thinking ? Maybe not KEEP BELIEVING !
-
What a f@cking embarrassment of a support, mock celebration at it's very worst, it was 5 weeks ago they won the title . What was the point to that bit of pantomime apart from a shit youtube video that only shows them up for what they are .....I don't get it .
-
He has the personality , passion a willingness to learn. Look back to the start of the season he had the team not playing great football but decent and getting results, was unlucky at the piggery with the Wallace goal being wrongly disallowed , the great perfomance of the team in the two games against the scum at Ibrox, he has the respect of his players and has good player management skills . The signing of Aluko was a master stroke. No doubt the loss of Naismith then having to sell his top striker and the off field situation derailed our title bid. I will also point to the facts posted by Calscot that show Ally has potential to go on and become an exceptional manager. No doubt he still has a lot to learn with regards tactics but that will come.
-
Ally McCoist has my backing 100 % and IMO could go on to become an exceptional manager . We should be grateful we have such a man at the helm of our club, not writing him off after his first season .
-
Who do you think would have done a better job than what McCoist did under the unprecedented circumstances and who would you bring in to replace him ?
