I honestly wish King would just fuck off back under his rock and let Green get on with the job in hand of getting our club out of administration and back on it's feet ... He's making his move to late in the game and this bullshit is not helping us in anyway . Infact the daily attacks on Green are really starting to piss me off . Question him about his motives and plans, thats fine , but the daily lynch mob attacks on a man who could potentialy save our beloved club are sickening .
-
IMO It was a poor show by King to release they statements and I can only assume it was done for his own personal gain, whatever that may have been. After that little stunt I for one will be glad to see the back of him .

I dont know, seems crazy that he would remain as Chairman or on the board after being banned for life .
-
I thought Whyte was removed from the board when the SFA banned him from Scottish football ?

McCoist - We are in talks for return of Gattuso
TheWeeBlueDevil replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Does it really matter if the Millian fans wanted him to stay or not ? He is a CL and world cup winner, at 34 years old he would still eat most SPL midfielders for lunch . I think he would give an added snap and bring undoubted experience to our midfield and that could make a huge difference in some games . The man is a winner who will play for the jersey . -

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/974460/gattuso:-i'll-come-back-stronger-than-ever-from-eye-injury?cc=5739 AC Milan's veteran midfielder Gennaro Gattuso insists his career is not over despite being blind in one eye. Gattuso suffered a paralysis of the seventh cranial nerve following a collision with team-mate Alessandro Nesta that has left the 33-year-old without sight in his left eye. The Italian has not played since being substituted in Milan's opening Serie A game against Lazio on September 9 but has vowed to come back from the career-threatening injury. "Football is my life,'' Gattuso said. "I'm a lucky man. Three weeks ago doctors told me there was a chance I might never play again, but now they are saying that is not the case and I will fight hard to return. "For a while I was seriously scared about my health and worried for my life. But now I have undergone several tests I'm calmer. It'll take more than this to beat me. The important thing is to not give up. "I feel an important part of the dressing room here. I feel respected after playing here for so long. My team-mates know I'm full of enthusiasm, so age is certainly not a problem. "As long as the enthusiasm is there, I can keep playing. I hope you will see me back on the football pitch.'' The 2006 World Cup winner, who has been at Milan since 1999, will be out for at least a further six months. "In 25% of cases the palsy of the sixth optic nerve occurs for unknown reasons,'' explained Milan's chief medical officer Rodolfo Tavana. "Often this kind of problem clears up by itself in a period of two to six months.'' Former Rangers midfielder Gattuso hopes his condition, which has affected his daily life, will improve. "Before I had triple vision, now I see double,'' he said. "There has been some improvement. I can train, but I can't play because I can't see well enough. "Right now I can't send an email, I can't watch TV, I can't drive and it's tough not to be able to take my children to school. "I will need to wait another four months before an operation can take place to resolve everything. "The important thing is to get back to normal life and to come out of this stronger than ever.'' -

Would love to see Rino back at Rangers.... if only to see him go up against Scott Brown -
I think your right but Whytes wording could have been a little clearer to avoid any confusion or mischief making. IMO
-
Im confused by that, does that mean that Whyte will remain a shareholder and be part of the sevco consortium ?
-
Im not belittling anybody , far from it and I certainly do not think im better than anybody who post on this forum. My point I thought was clear enough, we should not accept any assertions or spin at face value but that should work both ways with regards to accepting negative spin. IMHO I dont see how you conclude from that, that im belittling people or thinking im better than them .
-
I agree but that should work both ways, too many in our support are all to happy to accept any negative media spin at face value
-
Ha ha ha Can you imagine the outcry from the darkside if that name was used Would almost be worth changing it to that just to see the reaction
-
If the supporter reps asked for the name to be changed and Mr Green agreed , and I believe that to be the case then I fail to understand how it is a PATHETIC STUNT by Green . The RFFF statement ( if you can call it a statement ) reads that progress had been made with regards to proof of funding and that we should consentrate on the main issue in hand, that being getting the club through the CVA process . That to me suggest they have been giving some kind of assurance that Green has the funding to see it through .. The meeting lasted for 3 hours, it seems pretty clear to me that a lot more has been discussed and that there is things that need to be kept in house untill after the CVA process is complete. Although a better more reasurring statement from the supporters reps could have hepled squash any fears .
-
I agree with that but I also think that if a CVA is approved and Rangers emerge from administration it will become a lot more attractive for investors to get involved .
-
Maybe the supporters group reps at the meeting asked for the name change , just like they did in that meeting with Whyte.
-
No mention of it on BBC
-
Im actually wanting to see a link to the interview to check that I heard it right . I find that an unbelievable responce.
-
Regan on STV news just talked about the tweet wanting Jig hanged , said that it is no big deal and suggested that the Rangers fans are making an issue of it to hit back at him .

IMO When we come out of administration hopefully through the CVA process then Rangers will be a far better attraction for investors, at this stage im just hoping Green can show something to convince us that the money is there for that process to be successful, once the CVA is complete then IMO we will learn more about investors. -
Good stuff

I believe that Mr Green does need to show the fans something but at the same time I wouldn't expect him to show his full hand, esp IF people who are potential investors have asked to remain anonymous. -
Maybe Mr Green has emptied his piggy bank to pay for the trip

Wiped out ?

Why are people spoiling a thread titled congratulation to the Queen with pointless little digs about her standing up or sitting down while waving an a boat ..? Only my opinion

IMO It's an absolute myth to say the Royals have never worked hard . Sure they were not down the pits as 12 year olds but they have all worked and had military careers ect .
