Not for me, unless they played from Ibrox stadium, wore the blue tops, had the same club crest and carried our illustrious history. Without that it would just be another club using our name.

Green holds the assets, Di Stefano's Rangers wouldn't be the real Rangers football club, unless he bought the assets back from Green . What Di Stefano would have is a NEW CLUB playing in England using our name.

It's going to take a fair bit of 'kerching' to pay off all the plc debts then buy the newco from Green .

Even if he did, and bought the old plc he wouldn't actually own a football club. I assume he would then approach Green with proposals to buy the newco and merge it with the oldco .

If he buys RFC plc he wont own a football club, just a shell company that used to own a football club, with a lot of debt and no assets. Sevco Scotland own Rangers football club now.

I think if it had been them, then the SPL / SFA would have been a lot more sympathetic. I also believe the SPL would have dealt with the situation in house and not passed the decision on to fans of rival clubs to decide their fate . No chance would they have allowed Rangers fans to decide the fate of Pacific shelf, and if they did and we had tried the same bully bhoy tactics that lot have indulged in then we would have been hung out to dry by the media and powers that be . Both players are at different stages of their career , Black at 27 years old is coming into the peak of his career and should hit his best form over the next couple of seasons, A good time to sign him I think . Big jig is coming towards his final years but if he can stay fit and on form he will be priceless for us in the SFL.
