    Abuse and unfounded allegations carry more weight when they come from people on your own side, it is the oppositions 'job' to abuse their opponents.

    Twenty years ago I worked in a factory and found out the safety officer, at a safety meeting had said derogatory things about me. My manager was present at this meeting and I felt these comments unchallenged would affect my chances of promotion. One simple letter from my lawyer and the safety officer was at the next meeting retracting what he said and indeed praising me, six months later I got my promotion. This site was pulled up and reacted in the same way as the safety officer, surely Craig could have did the same.
