  1. Absolutely brilliant youngster, have a look at the obligatory You Tube clips. I do think it will spell the end for Law though.
  2. In the Daily Mail Vuckic spent a successful spell at Ibrox last season, but Mark Warburton has told the Daily Mail that he would not be an option for another signing this summer. He said: “No. That [signing Vuckic] wouldn’t be an option for us. We’ll hopefully add one more this week and then we’ll be almost there.”
  3. I think MW has already come out and stated that Vuckic is not an option being considered.
  4. I think our new formation of 2 - 5 - 3 is inevitably going to leave the two centre backs exposed! At this level, I think that MW is quite content, knowing that we will almost inevitably score more goals than the opposition. Against better opposition, Andy Halliday will sit a bit deeper, or John Eustace will provide that role, (if he gets fit and is signed up.) Right now, Andy is the most defensive of the midfield trio and even he is bombing forward, which is probably in his nature in any event. He has done a really good job to date, but i just wonder if he will be a wee bit exposed if we draw better teams in the cup. Kiernan and Wilson are both ball playing centre backs and my guess is that MW would accept the odd-mistake, provided they continue to play his style of football. I cannot see him bringing in a whole hearted give everything that you have CB like Darren McGregor, if he is unable to start attacks from the back playing the ball out of defence.
  5. Is it just me, or does John Swift remind anyone of Brian Laudrup? Perhaps it's just the running style, but he just seems so comfortable with the ball at either foot. Not sure where Swift would fit into the 4 3 3 formation, as a central midfielder he would be competing with Andy Halliday and presumably John Eustace. Really loving life at the moment and think that MW has played an absolute blinder in the loan market thus far.
  6. Even if he were to go to Celtic, Hibs would still have lost their best player. Glass half full loyal!
  7. I think you will find that Eustace is not particularly quick either, but makes up for the lack of pace by positional awareness. Murdoch showed up well last season after coming into the team, but I could still have the rose coloured spectacles on when comparing him to the remainder of last year's squad!
  8. How did Andy Murdoch play? Slightly surprising to not see him as part of the first team squad, but hopefully MW views him as someone that can learn from the likes of Eustace and become a better all round player. I do think that Andy Halliday has been superb in that position so far, so no arguing with the decision to play him at the U20 level.
  9. For me that was the most pertinent point in the article. Like GS, and no doubt every genuine Rangers fan, I want to see every b*stard that caused damage to our great club, do their penance. Wonder how illBill and illPhil will spin that, when it occurs?
  10. Incredible, what a support we have! Honestly, how many teams around the World would be able to attract 50 000 fans on a Friday night, playing the second tier of a league competition? In my opinion, we have not got enough credit for the on-going support over the past couple of years. Well done all bears/bearettes attending, hope the team does us all proud!
  11. Without a doubt, I agree entirely with your comments, but I am still curious as to the need to make the purchase now. As you say, RF are sitting on a nice cash 'nest egg' and will be having itchy fingers. But, by waiting for the share offering, we could have kept the money within the club and still purchased the unsubscribed shares. As it stands, RF have paid a shareholder somewhere in the region of 175k. That's Ally's salary for two months right there!
  12. Surely though at the time of the share issue they could still maintain their existing level, as well as buy up the available shares from those existing shareholders unwilling to maintain their percentage? Easdale/Ashley/Blue Pitch etc are unlikely/unable in the case of the latter two to want to retain their current percentage. I don't think that the good guys are any longer in danger of being outvoted by the Easdale block unless there has been some drastic shift behind the scenes? Fair play to them, the more shares that we have owned by fans (and I include King and the 3B in that), the better, but obviously this is money not going into the club and I do wonder about the take up at the next offering. Will DK and the 3B underwrite this?
  13. He scored two against Buckie Thistle during pre-season 2014/2015, then scored against Victoria Highlanders on the North American trip. Never really had a look in since!
  14. Does anyone know if the club earns all income on Rangers TV subscriptions, or does Ashley have his fingers in the pie here as well?
  15. Well done to all for supporting the team by buying the season ticket. Spare a thought for us overseas bears, who cannot even buy the strips any longer. Will just need to wait for the next share offering!
  16. Welcome to the most successful football club in history Rob!
  17. He could just have asked Nicky Law for some pointers. The British 'Hide and Seek' champion of 2014/2015 would ensure that the Polis never found McCulloch!
  18. I think that this loan was repaid from the Sports Direct £5 loan mate. We owe nothing to MASH, but we will need to repay SD in due course, once all negotiations over the onerous contracts have been concluded.
  19. One hour ahead in your summer, two hours in your winter.
  20. Agree entirely. This week we seem to have had the press attempting to destabilise the club, Ashley wants his money back (shock horror - someone gives a loan and wants to be repaid), Shota Aveladze transfer fee was understated and now we are considering other managers - all just days before the play-off date. Certainly wouldn't mind a manager like Karl Robinson though - young, talks well, great track record, develops youth - Definitely ticks the boxes for me.
  21. Given that Barca are now being chased by the tax authorities in Spain for under declaring the amount of Neymar's transfer, I think that we could be in for a new bout of scrutiny from HMRC.
  22. Without wishing to tempt fate, if or when we get past QOtS, it doesn't leave a lot of time to sell tickets for the Hibs match on the Wednesday.
  23. Assume that the 'source close to Cashley' is Toxic Jack?

Could there ever be a better day to post good/bad news, depending upon your perspective? The DK announcement would just get lost in the wash with all headlines being focused upon the GE

The aftermath of the General Election presumably?
