"he expressed his dismay in an email exchange"... Then its simple, all he needs to do is show the Rangers board the emails and or his editor. Then the nasty stories will all go away! -

so they will be relying on Agency staff?? oh well! That means they have to spend more money on hiring someone else to do his work! who knows maybe we'll get a balanced report -

Nice to see Mr Whiyte, accompanied by his daughter (well she looks around that age). -
That was my thoughts too! McCoist loved scoring goals so it was quite baffling to see him turn out that turgid pish. even worse when he continued it when we were in the bottom division. still, it does seem that strikers who move into management seem to play defensive , whilst defenders seem to prefer attacking!

Retaliation.. He was in a stadium, with 22 guys on the pitch, subs, physios, coaches, stewards, police press and fans. if he felt he had been assaulted then he should of made a complaint. If he's on the street and its just him and his mates, then he can go right ahead and defend himself or subdue his attacker or whatever! Instead he went mental. And lets be honest Moshni had a bit of form himself with the occasional headbutts and hissy fits.
-
Moshni's actions were embarrassing to the club and there was no way we could defend it.

This is true. The ref bottled it! the game is seconds old and he's probably thought "its too early to book someone"!

well there was always McCullochs elbows!

I think Frankie's right, we've got to remember he's a footballer, he's not a cultured fella and he's not the th brain of Britain. I tend to think you have to give him the benefit of the doubt. he's probably told his players to be rough and disrupt our flow of play. I don't think he would say to his players "!try and break his ankle that way you'll get sent off and there one threat will be eliminated" he was probably quite shocked himself but he's then put in that position where he must defend his player because that's what managers do, they try and protect their team. ferguson does it wenger "I didn't see the challenge" does it" its just one of those things. Also we've had a fair few of our players in the past who have put the boot in. Hurlock on fulton, Cleland on Del Piero (off the top of my head). I cant remember being wild condemnation from our supporters to drive them out of the club.

Sounds like he could become a player coach or full time coach for the future? -
and therein lies the problem.. as a footballer for us he gave his heart and soul and was a great ambassador for the club. Then we have his transition to management, where he plays some of the most insipid football out(a far cry from when we were going all out for nine in a row). Yes we had huge problems off the field but with the second biggest budget , we looked uninterested and out of shape. Why couldn't he see it, when all of us could. Then when the penny finally drops and he now knows that the regime that he once aligned himself too are crooks, he resigns only to be put on garden leave. I personally thought he was doing this to push the regime to breaking point ( after the Newcastle two came up and started making folk redundant) and make them do business with Dave King and then he would walk away with his head held high knowing that he had stuck it to the old regime.. instead he continued to take the money.. money that could of been reinvested into the team, the stadium or even those day to day staff that he once took a wage cut to look after. And now his legacy is tainted(for now) ... unless he has a very good get out of jail card e.g. he couldn't walk away from "gardening leave wage" as its part of a case to sue the old regime or that he's going to donate it all back to the club. Until he talks ..its not looking good for him!

I wonder what kind of reception McCoist will get if he ever returns to Ibrox(either as a spectator or work ). I suspect it probably wont be good due to him continuing to take a wage, and generally playing pish poor football when he was in charge!

" That example above and several others like it, is why Spence's resignation has not been contested, and why he has engaged Mad Phil. Interestingly, long time friend and fellow Rangers hater, Stuart Cosgrove offered an illuminating comment on the reconstruction affair, "Jim has allowed himself to be placed naked on Stephen Thompson's lap and fed peeled grapes". " That is a mental image I could of lived without thinking about!

Without trying to sir things up, I wonder what Ally Mccoist thinks? His idea was to trust old pros and shoehorn them in, thinking their experience would outshine the amateurs. I wonder if he's sitting at home going, "warburton, your wrong!, and there's going to be egg on your face"!
-
Maybe , The problem is that we were in distress at that point. If those players had stayed, there is no way we would of got top dollar. We would of been lucky to get a quarter of there worth! Any manager or chairman out there with a bit of savvy would just need to make a bid and test our metal. If the bank wouldnt force us to sell them, then the agent and player would! probably siting , playing in a more competitive league or their international career!

Quite simply he got stiffed. In his eyes he saw a chance to make some easy money, what he didn't take into consideration is the resolve of the fans. He doesn't like that and probably wants make us pay one way or another!
