  1. What an absolute wanker.
  2. I agree, even Phil et al have not mentioned a word. Considering how sure they were that we would be mauled for not paying tax, I haven't seen them mention this. Using the Ashley situation to re-direct his 'dear readers' attention.
  3. This is so accurate on Stubbs. I like how yesterday he was moaning that Warbs should respect other teams. He's like the wee snivelly weasel who tries too hard. Given his treatment of us in the whole SA saga he can - in the words of Michelle Payne - get stuffed.
  4. I was a bought a top this year as a gift. I did wear it to a game (as said gift giver was going to game with me). In fairness, they were getting me something they [under normal circumstances, rightly] thought I'd like. I wouldn't actively buy though. Have to admit, my son is more interested in EPL so we've not had this issue
  5. I thought the gagging order was specifics to the financials? I'm sure King worded his statement very carefully so as not to breach it. Ashley is just trying to flex his muscles/flab [i avoid jabs about people's looks but I feel justified in this case]. I'm sure fans from other clubs are positively flocking to SD given his relationship with us. They'll think they are helping his cause.
  6. I get that Gascoigne was a good player but this is not great taste given he's just pled guilty to harassing his ex-girlfriend and assaulting a photographer. I'm not saying people on this forum do so, but this is idolising Gazza because he's 'Rangers' whilst constantly having a go at Stan Collymore is hypocrisy at best.
  7. Wealthier people use bankruptcy to get out of paying their debts and protect what they have left. I've no doubt he has money hidden somewhere, but as others have said, with forensic accountants & a huge fraud probe on the go he won't have it for long.
  8. I think it was more of an articulate character assassination on Phil than anything. It's actually useful since it was in a newspaper rather than just online. Not everyone is online, not everyone is aware of the absolute hatred he has for us & all things Rangers. More power to the Bel Tel for allowing it. I particularly liked how phil was unhappy the Bel Tel didn't speak to him before the RST statement went out.
  9. I think with this particular issue, the Board are between a rock and a hard place. They can't say much about anything, yet everyone wants to know what is going on. That statement will have had to go through several rounds with lawyers to ensure it doesn't really say anything. Glad the club is fighting it though.
  10. I forgot about that gagging order.
  11. More info would be nice, but I reckon due to the amount of untangling & wrangling of contracts that the Board have enough to deal with. I'm kind of assuming they hope all these appointments, plus facility upgrades, fan board etc will allow them to do the dirty work behind the scenes whilst we enjoy whats happening on the park. Given the legal issues, I'm not surprised we are hearing much as to finances. Bear in mind Green is trying to sue for court costs, would you come out and say yeah I've just whacked £1.5mil in to the club? It doesn't make sense to provide the other side with ammunition. I'm OK with waiting for a bit. I didn't expect KingCo to come in and chuck £30mil in & expect that to solve the problem. In fact, i'd argue that by not doing so, I have more confidence they are working on the underlying issues to make us profitable going forward. It's all gone a bit quiet on the MASH front though, anyone know anything there?
  12. I find the Duff & Phelps bit really interesting. For me, that's the bit that ties it all together and shows the [alleged] conspiracy. I remember when Whyte plunged us in to admin & got Duff & Phelps agreed, everyone thought it was a little odd. This case is going to be illuminating & aggravating. Hopefully it is also going to vindicate us - the fans. We said all along we've been victims of a crime (OK, indirectly, but we talk about the club as We) and we've been punished, ridiculed and shamed by many.
  13. Doesn't make any sense, because then tweeted - when asked his opinion, that Warbs comes across as sensible.
  14. Honestly, this is why I joined RF over RST. I felt (at the time) that RST still wasn't all it could be. However, if everyone can put aside their own agendas, this could be excellent. Ultimately, we've all been putting money in for the same reason. As long as there are democratic votes then it should be OK.
  15. All is as it should be!
  16. Given the board are talking about Europe - through Scottish Cup qualification (I know they talked about it as a nice to have) this needs to be worked on fast. This has been an ongoing issue for many years and it's quite disgraceful. The lack of cover from the elements is absolutely shocking. I'd happily help pay. I enjoy my trips to Ibrox - well now I do lol - and I feel every fan should feel the same, not be having to navigate a stadium unsuitable for their needs.
  17. It's disappointing we are still so lacking in facilities, it's long been an issue at Rangers. I imagine it wouldn't have been high on the previous board's priorities though given the current spate of indictments. I hope the current board go through the process properly and really consider the fans. I'm hopeful that the fan group they are building is to ensure they do.
  18. Really good news, I'd like a statement from HMRC saying they accept that all the courts have vindicated us but of course that won't happen. It will no doubt be the 'they've gotten away with it' style to try and leave it ambiguous. Nice to see us being on the right side of the law. I'll leave the morality & integrity side to the team who have a history that protected those who did break the law.
  19. I'd like to point out she wasn't the first member of the medical team on the pitch, but she was the one singled out by Jose. Medical teams can't go on the pitch unless invited and they are bound by their oath to do their duty. She could get in serious trouble refusing to provide medical treatment to someone. Jose did that because he could, because she is one of very few women in football and therefore it's easy to claim she doesn't understand the game.
  20. He has a point and it's probably wise to set expectations now, so in January everyone isn't wondering what is going on.
  21. But this is the point. They should be in great shape. They should have been winning trebles and spending big in champs league. Their fans should have been turning up. They should be on a high, but they aren't because they aren't that good, they aren't spending, they DO rely on Rangers and their fans aren't interested without us there.
  22. Quite right too. There was no way it could go anywhere else!
  23. Yep. Danny Wilson needs to do more though, I was less than convinced by him.
  24. Wasn't the best performance, but I have to say I had a lot of fun in BF2. The energy from those in BF1 is insane but they really do add to the atmosphere. Personally I would have given MotM to Kiernan. Thought he had a great game (although was easier for me tell that in 2nd half), but he is in the position where he's less likely to win the accolades. Oduwa seemed to keep running himself in to trouble - he needs to pass a bit sooner. It got a bit frustrating later on, no one seemed to want to take the shot and yet we won 3-0 and we know the players & managers weren't impressed themselves. 10 wins, undefeated. I feel like I've found my football joy again!
  25. The banner was right beside us so never got to see it, but Wallace acknowledged it before game, when he scored and when he was leaving the pitch. I wasn't sure on him being captain and not because I doubt his abilities, but I think he's been really strong this season.
