Typical. It's the security he wants and do you know what? I don't blame him. And big deal, he made a mistake, I hate how they've linked one mistake and practically suggest he should be begging to stay.

No matter your job, you have a right to go about your work without being subjected to racism. Personally, I applaud all of AC for doing what they did. It's time FIFA/UEFA did something real about it.

The club currently has the highest average attendance in Scotland

We kinda know this anyway but I suppose reinforcing the message for the media is never a bad thing -
Nice positive story, lets hope they keep coming

Blues move through the years to brighter future after darkness
BlueMazza replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Nice to see an article that DOES mention our history. -
I'm failing to see your point. They did. It's well known, no need to call anyone. You said they were just a gang of guys. I added they slashed people (hence the razor gang distinction). Just because it happened years ago doesn't mean a) it's not relevant or b) they were actually nice people, just misunderstood.

LOL, where's the drama in the truth? This is a debate is it not? If you wish to tell me where I'm wrong, then carry on but responding with only 'drama queen' does nothing to further your points.

Undisclosed payments investigation unaffected by death of Hugh Adam
BlueMazza replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
It suited the agenda to have a Rangers man making comments. Adam was used badly & taken advantage of. -
Fullerton was a fascist and I'm fairly sure his gang used to happily slashed people. Your 'nothing more, nothing less comment' is astounding. It's not quite that simple now is it? Fullerton is not someone to hold up as merely a rascal. He was also inherently racist.

BlueMazza replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
If you watch the interview with Adam, he is clearly not 100% with what the agenda is. It was disgusting of the mhedia to use an old man like that. I hope he rests peacefully, I for one bear him no ill will. -
I wasn't even born when the Disaster took place so I appreciate the sharing of stories from those who remember an horrific day. It's these stories, the shared experiences which keeps the memories of those who perished alive, and ensures that Gone But Not Forgotten remains true.

Can't blame him looking for longer term. He is 34, a one year extension might not be enough just now.

Would cause more trouble than it is worth.

they really do not have an ounce of shame
BlueMazza replied to The Real PapaBear's topic in General Football Chat
Look if you are the parent of an extremely sick child, your world becomes pretty bloody small very very fast. Sometimes just the gesture that someone out there wants to bring an ounce of joy to a joyless, desperate time in your life is all you need so no, people won't always question motives etc because in their world, in the grand scheme of things what matters? The child & them getting better, with a wee smile on their face. *puts cynical hat back on now* -

BlueMazza replied to The Real PapaBear's topic in General Football Chat
I've been having this debate at work. Is any good deed completely altruistic? Probably not. Surely as long as the recipient of the gesture is happy that is all that matters? I actually tweeted their tweet about it. First & last time but a good deed is a good deed. Or are we suggesting the trip to Yorkhill the other week is PR only and it doesn't matter if the kids enjoyed/benefitted? -
Ah that makes a lot of sense actually. Forgot they are called 'diet dates' always thought that was odd. Family member took heart in being told he 'wasn't the usual type' and his only complaint was the cages in the response van. He's really tall and felt cramped & claustrophobic.

Can I ask why we don't need to know? When we found out (on a Saturday), called a lawyer we were recommended, and he said to leave the house and stay elsewhere or be held over the weekend with the crazies. I've been called as a witness a couple of times (I need to close my eyes, I always end up witnessing shit) and each time it's postponed again and again then FINALLY the person admits guilt. Been asked if a cop a couple of times as turn up to court smart HAHAHA.
-
Not sure what happened, in the end we were so relieved it was over we left the court happy! Family member had to do a line up, a night in the cells (we were unaware of a warrant out on him and found out through utter chance) and umpteen court appearances, as I'm sure you are aware how often these things get moved back. The 'victim' couldn't pick him out of line up. Turned out he knew family name and used that. One of those were wrong time, wrong place was never truer

hahahahahaha. Sorry I enjoy a good debate.

Interesting that, because that's pretty much what happened to a family member. They were named as an attacker and spent 2.5 years on bail despite all the knowledge the police had as to who had actually assaulted someone. 2.5 years later after nearly losing his job, the person was apologised to by head of PF who was appalled. Interestingly, the 'victim' (I have reasons for the quotes) was related to someone high in strathclyde police. For balance, since then I've only ever had good interactions with police.

Excellent so should we assume the boy had a knife in his hands? Where there is life threatening intent I support police to react as required, of course. It IS a dangerous job and if they are unable to respond to violent threats then they are powerless. However, there are plenty of high profile cases where actions are not justified and it can take years & inquiries to sort it out. I'd have a lot more respect if at the time police said 'yep we fucked that up' and figured out other methods/policies. Whomever the fault lies with on Tuesday, pushing people down steps is a recipe for disaster. I appreciate there may be some 'well known' members of BF1, but it's not an excuse for all to be tarred the same.
-
I hope it's not. Sorry, but I'm one of those...ah yes handwringers. I'm also a heathen technically as I'm an athiest. i don't see the need to sing songs which denigrate members of a religion. Celtic fans, yes though . The point should be though, IDGAF what celtic fans think about us winning the league. The best and easiest way to annoy them is to ignore them.

Saying 'I want someone charged' is fine (if we're being pedantic ). It's expressing a wish to see the law applied against someone you believe to be the perpetrator of a crime. Quite often I would say it's more the manner said, then a statement of fact. It's a wish to proceed, to see our justice in full force, rather than a demand.
-
Well I think it is abhorrent. Broken bones is not reasonable. A bruise maybe, but physically breaking someone's bones is not. It can create huge issues later on in life. I wouldn't like being recorded, searched or my details taken either in fairness (yes I know, CCTV hunners of times a day), if I was just minding my own business. However, I'm aware how much trouble they can be so I'm not suggesting there isn't cause.

Then why not be looking forward. We've won 7 out of 7 games after a bit of a sketchy start. We're top of the league, game in hand. We're going to win trophies the dim's never will and we're letting everyone know we aren't to be bullied anymore. Focus on that.
