Yet, if they are struggling to raise £100K how exactly will they pay the 2nd installment?

There is PR coming out. PR is everything. I get emails most days from Rangers, I see twitter updates constantly, there is the press calls etc. Part of my job is analysing marketing/pr stuff our company do and our Head of PR never freaking stops, it's meetings, it's about perception etc. A new strategy takes time to get right and implement the changes. It's not just in Glagsow/Scotland, it's about the global brand too. It's a huge thing, plus with Traynor's background as a hack, I actually think it is a good thing he is behind the scenes for a while. People have questioned him so much because he joined us. Anything he puts his name on for blogs/articles gets slated so him working behind the scenes is to our advantage. You don't stick the controversial person in front of the mic all the time.

So, don't know if you will remember, last year my company ran a competition called Host Your Kit where teams in the U-11' to U16's age range can win a full set of new club strips, sponsored by us. This year our own Robbie launched it, which made me happy Also, we're doing basketball teams as well so if you know of any teams in need of new kit, get them to apply here: http://www.hostyourkit.com/football.php and http://www.hostyourkit.com/basketball.php I know this sounds like a company plug but it's not. It's actually a good competition, the kits are great (adidas) and of course we have a rangers lad involved

If Traynor is setting up a whole new strategy then it's going to take a bit of time. I do wish as a group of fans, we could give time rather than get wound up because we can't see every single thing someone does.

Yes. Ruin our defence line all in the name of 'transparency'. Nevermind that when the rebuttal letter is sent it will be out in public anyway no doubt.

I just think Spiers & English enjoy writing something of a wind up so they can then claim how reasonable they are against the inevitable onslaught against them.

Excellent! Well done Ally

Really pleased with this!

Rangers nicked the SPL title in 95-96 with stars they couldn't afford

Absolutely spot on -
Thanks for the clarification

Then this is what you could have said. Comparing it to the persecution of Jewish people by Nazi's (and essentially the police to he SS) is over cooking it. I'm not arguing the point of your article, I'm arguing the execution.

I was right with you until you brought up her being a lesbian, what has that got to do with her being a comedian? You wouldn't say 'straight comedian Sarah Milican'. The SNP legislating on equal marriage is fantastic, but it doesn't mean any one person should agree entirely with their policies because of it. However, I too have distate for the overuse of the word nazi. And this: is just wrong. D'Artagnan I'm an avid reader of your posts, but this one misses the mark. There are ways to make your point without nazi/Goebbel's comparisons.

Celtic to close part of their stadium???
BlueMazza replied to Darthter's topic in General Football Chat
Tha's pretty shocking though, surely that's kind of playing with fire when it comes to stadiums -
Convenient.

The shut out stat is annoying. That has to improve next season.

Maybe that's the point. Maybe he is saying don't expect to come here and be treated like a God. Reality at Ibrox is a hell of a lot different now.

and as a well known Rangers fan, any findings that looked good for us would be scoffed at by our detractors, hence the need for someone independent.

Good spot lol, I wouldn't have twigged!

Just can't help themselves can they?

Hardly a surprise to be honest.

SHEEP To Close Upper Deck For Next Season
BlueMazza replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Now Milne's tears make even more sense -
Ross County have always been well run (unlike ICT in fact). They were my local team when I was younger and spent many a Saturday at games there (which cost about £4 ) County aren't desperate for cash as such and getting a second year in the SPL will do them wonders. I heard mention of 'all the clubs should refuse their County ticket allocation'. Yet another case of it's fine when others suggest it but when we do it AND give gate to charity we're mauled.

Meltdown for our game? More like a lucky escape

I'm not a fan of Bill Leckie at all, but credit it where it is due, this is pretty spot on.
