  1. You are quite obtuse aren't you? So do I - which surely should go without saying. The point is, I'm confident we will get the results that count for us (i.e the league). I'm not confident with the current set up we have with the board/shareholders situation. So that's the focus. This is a thread about Smith resigning, I think there is one for discussion on the football side further down the page...
  2. See I take pre-season with a pinch of salt. I've seen us & others have great pre-seasons then terrible starts to a season, and vice versa. The issue I'm taking is using the Forfar game as the reason.
  3. On the park we are going to win the league and move up a division. Stage 2 will be complete. After that, will we even have any money left to get players? It feels like we'll end up arriving in the SPFL with £30m of debt
  4. I said the future is up for grabs...not that it's existence is in doubt so don't put words in my mouth.
  5. When the future of the entire club is up for grabs then yes the quality on the park is put to the sidelines for a while. Fed up hearing why Ally should hang his jacket up right now. Ally isn't the chairman, in the boardroom and seeing every single thing. Something has clearly pissed Walter off. Posturing about Ally (any poster) and how he should quit is not helpful at the moment. Club stability is our goal at the moment. We can barely go a fucking week without a crisis so scoring the players/managers on their on the park quality is way down my list of priorities.
  6. Prior trying to buy Green's shares or the other way round?
  7. it's ONE defeat. OK so yes it's a bad one but it's ONE defeat. I get it, our cup record isn't great and there are plenty of areas for improvement but McCoist should not resign. I think Walter may have because Green is back as a paid consultant. Clearly the behind the scenes wrangling is making him uncomfortable. We'll know more soon
  8. Green back and Walter out. How on earth can this be a good thing? I shall await with interest what role Ahmad will get next.
  9. what the hell...just when I thought I could come back from hols and it would all be about the football...
  10. Shame they couldn't have used this instead of the way they went after tom yesterday. I'm sure it's put much better than what I saw on twitter.
  11. That keeper strip is awful...
  12. I like the home & third kit...not convinced on the away yet. The shorts though...
  13. Great article. You've given me a timely reminder of Regan' behaviour. With things settling down a bit at Rangers, it's easy to put to the back of your mind all the hate we've had.
  14. Good on him, a really nice gesture. I have to say though I really wouldn't want to put my money into a ticket for a fund raising friendly with hearts. I'd love to forgive & forget but they are still yapping on about us (the fans). Much better to do as we are doing - spend our money at the smaller clubs in Scotland, ensuring they are more financially sound than they have been. This is what pisses me off. Our supporters have poured money in to football clubs all over the country in this last year but the hacks et al quickly forget that. We are doing our bit. Just because we don't want to help out one club, and that doesn't suit the SFA/SPL agenda they use it as a stick. Well fuck that.
  15. (no idea if the image will work so link is below) This was posted with 'supposedly one of the Rangers kits' so don't take it as gospel. https://twitter.com/CallumSm1993/status/346940864293113857/photo/1
  16. LOL. I mean I could have leant towards sympathy but reading that I'm back where I was. Happier now?
  17. Having read that thread, it strengthens my position of ambivalence towards hearts. I cannot muster any sympathy or hate. Their club is in deep trouble but it's sill all conspiracy and hate against us. It's bizarre. The only people I truly feel for are the employees, the actual employees you don't see in the press all the time. They are the ones who put in the hard work and ultimately they will be the ones hardest hit when job losses eventually hit. I don't like to see anyone lose their job because rich old men like to play about with money.
  18. They also don't have our stature and history.
  19. On paper yes, but it would surely be the true death of a pretty much dead league
  20. Have to agree, I miss the Rangers shops we had.
  21. I have to agree about the whole computers thing. Our son is 5 - nearly 6. We have xbox/ps3 etc but he never really plays them. We got him a DS and for a couple of weeks it was constant 'can I play my ds' etc, but quickly it's become something to do in the car on a long journey. We had him in football training for a while but he really doesn't have the concentration for organised coaching yet. He goes to an afterschool club each day and they take them out to parks/woods etc and don't take any toys or anything with them. It's all about using their imaginations, climbing trees etc. When we get home he is straight outside in the garden playing football. Aside from the computers thing, I genuinely believe sleeping patterns play a huge part as well. Our boy is an early riser, always has been. He's up about 6-6.30 every day. To combat this, he needs to be in bed by 7.30 to be well rested, but I know many of his peers will be up til 9pm or later every night. A good sleep followed by breakfast is so important for children. Concentration and energy levels are all dependent on this. We also don't allow him to fall asleep with tv on as I don't think it's a good start to a sleep. Kids get tired during the day due to less sleep then they need. How would they then have energy to play out if they don't get it?
  22. They could have got a child size top to fit the boy on the left!
  23. The signs certainly made the shop look a similar size to the c*ltic one. It didn't look tiny to be fair.
  24. This is brilliant, good job guys!
  25. I was at Glasgow airport this week and there are signs up for Rangers with 'coming soon'. Sadly it is right next to the celtic shop, however at least we're there to drag that part of the airport out of the gutter
