  1. I lived on the Black Isle when I was younger - grew up there. Once Ross County were established my dad & I went to see them play every week. I think it cost like £2 for me It's good to go to football matches, but nothing beats my first game at Ibrox. I've some great memories of days/nights there with my dad. He's getting a bit too frail for traipsing to matches with us now. Doesn't stop him jumping to his feet calling the ref a bastard at home mind My dad's a toffee at heart. He grew up in Liverpool (he's Welsh by birth). He's loads of old programmes from games. His brother is a 'pud' so they used to have some rare arguments haha. Anyway, point being, I think you can go along and support a local team, especially if you can't get to the team you love.
  2. I know some of your posts are an acquired taste but that is plain stupid.
  3. Love a good celebration I'm actually going to be in BF2 for the first time ever as well. Never sat in Broomloan before - not sure why!
  4. Getting parents to back off is probably a really good thing. Have seen too many touchline coaches and it's usually really negative. It will be interesting to see the results in a few years - way too early to tell just now.
  5. One is his sister is it not?

    The S F A

Funny how that's how we have to do it when we weren't afforded the same from them. We should never ever forget they also tried to blackmail us to relinquish titles, based on accusations that were ultimately never proven.
  7. Maybe they are going for the 'thoroughly professional' side rather than prestige. Could be part of keeping the focus rather than spending wildly on bigger companies. It can work to your advantage to be the big fish client of a smaller company than the other way round.
  8. Apparently Raith are claiming it's unfair as they couldn't afford to bring their player home, but their statement makes it sound like Rangers did something wrong. Hardie is a good player, but it's not like he's the sole reason our team is doing so well!
  9. I hate most MSM papers. They all have an agenda. The Mail though print out right lies & sexualise children constantly.
  10. The Mail is a piece of trash anyway, they just occasionally have rational people write for them
  11. Well I just bought tickets for Livi game as it's the next one I can get too. Another £40 in the coffers
  12. Is this something concerning or is it all part of the master plan that we aren't totally aware of? Personally I never expected King to just whack money in to the club anyway but this wording isn't great.
  13. Interesting. I assume because we are doing so well the BBC really want to cover us and it must be frustrating the life out of them to hardly speak of us. Can't wait to see the new unbiased and balanced coverage. Think how much it will annoy other fans. I'm assuming the first biased story will result in a lifetime ban.
  14. I'm holding on to hope that Ally is banking the money to be used to help us. I seriously have to believe that there is a reason he is still taking the cash, that he's agreed to take the flak for the moment because he can't do anything else. Ally has always been what we called a True Ranger. I know it was shit under White/Green/Easdales but that couldn't have turned him so far away could it?
  15. I think you are under estimating the board. I doubt Warburton has cart blanche to just cancel contracts cause he doesn't need the player. The board will have agreed & decided to maybe not make things difficult for McGregor. I'm sure (first time in several years I can say this) the board know what they are doing.
  16. Plus he wants to play, not sit on the bench. Warburton told him upfront so he could make a choice and he wants to play, not milk the club. Fair play to him for going to his boyhood team (isn't that what we wanted Allan to do?)
  17. We didn't really let him away on a free. We mutually ended a contract as Warburton has far too much respect for a decent player that he has no plans for. McGregor was cool with that and him & his agent have went out and got a deal for him. We didn't hand him to HIbs but we also cannot complain loudly & long about the way Hibs behaved to us & then expect us to do the same thing back. That is not the Rangers way. We've actually behaved decently imo. Whether one defender who has yet to play for us this season comes back to haunt us? We'll have to wait and see.
  18. Don't see the need to call her a slut but aside from that, she's most likely selling the story to pay the court fine. Whatever the situation, it's not like footballers ever do stupid things but it's between Novo & his missus.
  19. tbf given all the stupid headline this week, I'm not surprised. He must be incredulous at some of the pish scottish football & media come out with. I know I am!
  20. Apparently it is Arsenal starlet Gedion Zelalem Has certainly upset a few applecarts
  21. Rangers FC ‏@RangersFC 30m30 minutes ago The manager says he found this morning's back page headlines on Nathan Oduwa: "quite incredible." ETA: So aye, Welcome to the godlfish bowl of Glasgow Warbs & Oduwa.
  22. Lololololololololololololololololololol Barely scraped past Morton but aye, OK then.
  23. Hilarious when you think about. Greetin & moanin cause some wee lad bested him. The phrasing is pretty awful too: "Coming up here and..." has a pretty nasty tone to it.
  24. I'm really pleased to see a happy Kenny Miller back on fire. It's clear the style of play suits him massively. He's always done well for the club (ok last season wasn't great but I would argue it wasn't great for anyone)
