    Never really recovered after Hibs did well with Killie though partly responsible for Naismith and the likes wouldn't give him the Rangers job but. When at Raith Rovers i always thought Jimmy Nicholl was Rangers bound one day but he went to Millwall and ruined it for himself

    Forgive my ignorance Is this something the board had to have signed off on prior to applying? Or could Sports Direct just apply for it then seek board approval?

    Would it not cost money to get out of or normalise the Sports Direct deal? I presume the deal will have some sort of contract that says SD get X % and Rangers get X ?

    Our squad is good enough to compete at the top end of the SPFL they just need a proper motivator in charge of them, I don't believe Celtic & Aberdeen are that far in front of us in terms of playing personnel, most definitely in terms of infrastructure they are but not players

    I loved Negri, thought he coulda broken all sorts of records. I would love to know what happened. Heard the rumours but looking forward to hearing his side He seems to love us on Facebook almost everything he posts on it is Rangers related.

    All his teams are incredibly fit, which is something we've lacked since the days of Advocaat, I'd say Le Guen but he wasn't there long enough. I'd like this to be true but the only way to know is for the media to go ahead and ask him

    I honestly feel football in general at this time has peaked, it has about another 5 years tops before it'll need a major overhaul again. The next step for the footballing authorities is super leagues and the likes. Whomever comes in and takes over at Rangers needs to get us in a position where we can be part of that. When we end up in something like that, that's when money will be made. PS I realise that the above is all very fantastical but I think that's the way football is going, my crystal ball also told this weeks lotto numbers, i can share if you like ;-)

    Which no doubt will happen. But by the looks of it just now £20m+ needs to be spent just to get control around £8m needs to be spent to get us to the end of this season. We then need a whole new team which will cost at least another £10m+ just in the hope we win the league or at least qualify for Europe. Then we'll need to spend more to compete in Europe. Money will also need to be spent sorting our youth and scouting set-ups and then there will be pay off's and sorting out the onerous contracts I just hope these guys whomever ends up in charge realise this and are in it for the long haul and are prepared to lose in the beginning to gain in the long run

    Whoever ends up in charge needs to be prepared to throw another £50m+ away in the short term if getting us back to the top is their aim
