Would take Danny Wilson as captain has the potential to be a good centre half. Lee Wallace hasn't done anywhere near enough to warrant being captain

I'm excited about the new season ahead but i am very concerned about where the money is coming from. Even if we bring in £12m from season ticket sales (which we won't) that will barely fund the club never mind signings and wages. Are Dave King and the other investors happy to fund us for the time-being? Or will it be other loans because anything that has been put in recently has been described as a loan not an investment with it being a loan it implies they will want it back in some form or another be that in shares or the money

The key thing here is we give him time. We have a real opportunity with this guy and it could be one of our last. I hope we don't expect him to be all conquering in his first season.

To me it seems we've scored an own goal here and wasted a wad of money when it could have been easily avoided. It was a slam dunk for Sports Direct in my opinion they were always in the right. You could argue about who signed the confidentiality agreement (I presume it was Llambias & Leach) but whoever did, they were acting on behalf of Rangers at that time. Were they acting in Rangers interests? Probably not but that's what should have been challenged not just saying we'll ignore what was agreed.

So what are our board playing at then by threatening to reveal this information at the EGM? It galls me to say it but it sounds like Sports Direct are right in this instance.

So are Sports Direct taking Rangers to court and are Rangers taking Sports Direct to court? And if both actions are by SD then why the 2-pronged action?

when i play football manager, it's the system i use to make all my signings. i just amend it to accommodate specific positions unless unless i go Chelsea or something then I just spend, spend spend :-). ultimately we need something quick and simple to hit the ground running. Employing scouts is the answer long term but we don't have that luxury at the moment. So why not try something like this

I know it's not really the point of the piece, I always find Martin Williams to be fair, especially on twitter. As for the rest I would agree SBS's assertions that success breeds contempt. But and this may be unpopular our club and our fans make it easy for the media to have a kick at us sometimes.
