  1. I'd sooner see us play 451 swapping between 2 attacking mids or 2 holding mids dependant on the opposition.
  2. Would be a good bit of business by us if Tavernier went for that.
  3. What was the big bang? Dafties with fireworks?
  4. I'd love it if he did. Can't see it though. But stranger things and all that.
  5. That rumour has been floating about for years. Give it a few months the rumour will die. Then they'll dig up another old one.
  6. I would love to see him justify why it is irrelevant. Sometimes he sounds quite reasonable but then he says stupid sh*t like this and he comes more across as a man with an agenda who will let that agenda drive him to spout nonsensical nonsense.
  7. It's always terribly sad when people fall into the grip of addiction unfortunately the lengths most will go to sustain the addiction draws judgement more than support from society in general. The people that work for various support groups and charities that try to help these poor souls do an incredibly difficult job and they will always have my admiration, having seen it at first hand the impossible job that they accomplish.Which makes it all the more heartbreaking when the sufferers fall again. I wish Gazza well and hope he has at least one friend trying to help him.
  8. Tbf Waghorn and Tavernier both have to prove they can take it to the next level. Tavernier in particular was found wanting several times last season. Good news about Warburton and Weir though.
  9. very sad, thoughts go out to his family and friends.
  10. We've always been terrible for that. If we started a list of players we've played to leave it would just go on and on and ariston.
  11. Totally agree disasters such as this used to bring the 2 clubs together and both club and fans were united in grief, in the same way when Tommy Burns died and when Davie Cooper died. Both clubs would put rivalries to one side. It would be nice to see a joint statement issued by Rangers and Celtic condemning these mindless morons.
  12. A few people have told me Barton is on 25k week. Obviously hearsay. But that sounds plausible to me.
  13. It's the official site. I'd take him think he'd do a job for us.
  14. rangers.co.uk › talent › jason-cummingl http://rangers.co.uk/talent/jason-cummings/ Have we signed Jason cummings?
  15. They clearly have backed the manager. I presume when the accounts are released they will show another loss. Yet we are out signing Barton and Kranjcar both of whom I would guess will be on around 40k a week between them.
  16. I wasn't as brave I did 3quid e/w (was all I had in account) at 18/1
  17. We would definitely be where we are now and probably better for it. I would say in that era just about every player we signed had no hunger or desire and probably couldn't believe how lucky they were that Rangers had came along and offered them big money to sign for them.
  18. To play in league 2, yes.
  19. Kevin Kyle said as much in an interview he expected maybe £500 a week and he was offered 4 or 5 times that by McCoist. Which yes would have came from the board but for a professional football manager to go yeah he's worth that. That's utterly shocking.
  20. McCoist owes Rangers fans some answers about what went on under his reign.
  21. He has a point Rangers and Celtic have been left behind in recent years, for one reason or another and both clubs need to look at new ways to stimulate interest and income.
  22. David Weir was no longer good enough for England when we signed him. But he had enough experience to still be light years ahead of his contemporaries in Scotland.
  23. Torres had gone off the boil before he joined Chelsea. Liverpool probably couldn't have believed how lucky they'd got when Chelsea came calling.
  24. I shook my head at Weir and Dailly both did a job for us. I imagine Hill is to do the same. Don't see him as a regular but very much someone that will be given jobs to do and can see him doing efficiently.
  25. De Boer was light years ahead of what we had at the time. I still remember him pointing where he was going to put the ball to one of our strikers at the time.
