  1. Why not just say this then?
  2. Didn't realise Jim Traynor was still involved with us.
  3. When it comes to players betting on matches, I highly doubt Barton and the others that have been caught are the only ones doing. I recall a famous Scottish international that once training was over would head straight to the bookies.
  4. I think he'll play for us again.
  5. Let's hope the club come through for you.
  6. That's the description he used. It's vile. He could have given broader examples but the same message applies.
  7. Ian Wright is only going to talk about his experience of the old firm and it's going to be slanted one way. I would expect someone like Arthur Numan to give a different perspective.
  8. An old firm game does have a vile atmosphere. Anybody that says different is flat out lying.
  9. He looks to me like someone that is still settling.
  10. Not knowing what went on. But I think part of the reason for his 3 week suspension is his book release when high profile autobiographies get released (such as his) there are lots of headlines during that period. The length of the suspension might be to do with that. I have my doubts though, he's not made things easy for himself.
  11. I always like how very calm and reasoned Mark Warburton comes across.
  12. Right! So he's not gone?
  13. Not being privy to what occurred between everyone involved. His statement is fair enough I think. He's held his hands up admitted his part in whatever occurred. Let's hope a line can now be drawn now and he gets his head down and lets his football do the talking.
  14. So we end up back to our age old problem we pay them to leave.
  15. It's a strange one, the punishment would suggest Barton is at fault. None of the reports mention similar action taken against Halliday. But I think it's best to reserve judgement until Rangers say something official. It might be a mountain out of a molehill.
  16. Things look like they might get a bit Messi tonight
  17. I'm more than happy to settle for a top half finish, a decent run in both cups and maybe qualify for Europe. Anyone that thinks we can achieve more is simply being unrealistic. We are severely hamstrung financially at the moment to the effect that our board is still bailing us out with loans. Yes it hurts we got gubbed on Saturday but we were still in the match until Celtic scored the 3rd goal. After that we should probably have shut up shop but I don't know how often I've watched games and the losing team does that, I've always said why not just go for it, you've lost anyway. We went for it on Saturday and unfortunately it backfired. But i'm glad we did I think it will have been a learning experience for the team and let's remember bar Miller and Wallace it was our teams first experience of an atmosphere like that. An Old Firm at Hampden is completely different to an Old Firm at Ibrox or Parkhead
  18. Celtic and their fans should be hammered for that display yesterday. You have to wonder about the mentality of the people that would display something like that. Can you imagine someone chatting away to one of the perpetrators about what they got up to at the weekend tomorrow? What did you do at the weekend? Oh I got a blow up doll tied it's hands behind its back tied a Rangers scarf around it's neck and then hung it from the stand where I was sitting. Err, Why? Honestly that was completely obscene and Rangers or Club 1872 should be releasing statements to that effect.
  19. We honestly dig our own hole at times.
  20. I'll say one thing today Warburton went after the game and never stopped chasing it. From his starting 11 to when Kiernan went off he could have tried to shut up shop (maybe he doesn't know how to) but he didn't. Players let him down badly today.
  21. In response to the original poster as a Rangers fan I would be disgusted by our fans if we unveiled such a banner on Sunday. We would be massacred in the press and rightly so in my opinion. Rangers fans are better than that.
  22. 1.Gilks 2. Tavernier 3. Wilson 4. Senderos 5. Wallace 6. Barton 7. Rossiter 8. Mckay 9. Kranjcar 10. Waghorn 11. Garner Subs 12. Foderingham 13. Hill 14. Hodson 15. Holt 16. Halliday 17. Windass 18. Miller. Dependant on opposition I'd swap out for Crooks, Dodoo, Forrester and O'Halloran etc..
  23. If Durrant can't say who it was he'd have been better off saying nothing.
  24. We've had lots of mediocre players who've hidden it with work rate. It's usually the work rate that endears them to fans.
