Excellent piece Frankie. Articulate and damning of the state of our lawmakers and the lazy journalists who are happy to trade in anti-Rangers bias, masquerading as objectivity. Every time I see or hear Spiers on the radio or TV trotted out as some kind of expert on Scottish football and the Old Firm I feel physically sick. Your words are better than I (and I suspect many of us) could muster. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I fear for us against anyone in the championship at the moment. We cannot defend and haven't a clue going forward. The players are lazy, unfit and don't care. That's going to take a whole summer to sort out. If we somehow scrape our way up to the SPL with the dross we have at the moment it will be a miracle.

If that is the case Craig and there is no easy way to sack these parasites without paying off the contracts and terms (that we all know they basically wrote for themselves rather than were awarded on the basis of any competition or competency for the role), how do we get them out for the least money? Any ideas would be welcome because I want these guys gone. -

Do the board live in some kind of parallel universe where they think the club is awash with money and the fans will carry them joyfully on their shoulders no matter how much those same fans are treated with utter contempt? Sommers had better be going to work for SD after all this because given his performances over the last few weeks nobody with any sense should touch him with a barge pole for another job.
