Im mostly hoping for a statement from the board, in order for them to condemn the witch hunt and make it clear that Rangers will not stand to continue to be the whipping boys to such an extent above any other club that it just looks petty and hate filled. This is a vitally important time for the club without these distractions.

Thanks GS, I missed it live. I like how he was straight in there with the word 'we' when referring to the team, rather than 'they'. Him being a pundit at alot of games this season will have been of help to him and you can tell that in his knowledge of our season so far. I also like that he pulled them in to training on their day off, although the players probably didnt like it much. All in all, spoke well and has the drive in him, if he can transfer that to the players, all the better.

It just seems a bit too quick that it has been brought up now, although I concede in this day and age anyone with the ability to use the internet can find things pretty fast. Suspicions getting the better of me but I get the feeling, with the build up to the EGM and fan groups gathering speed, they had it already waiting. If the board decide he has to go then so be it, its just a shame that we cant concentrate on getting the club back on track without these curveballs day in day out.

Thats a ballsy move to play that many youngsters in one position. If he pulled it off he's have been a god! Like most, Vuckik impressed me in his first couple of games but has fizzled out a bit. I wouldnt say he was a selfish player as the team had no direction and have been running around like headless chickens. Certainly wouldnt sign him up based on performances when the team have been dire. Might change my mind if McCall can get the team to play...like a team.

I understand where you're coming from bud, and it was a stupid thing for him to 'tweet'. There were alot of pissed off people in the aftermath of that massacre, but absolutely everyone I spoke to was directing their anger at these killers because of what they did, not their beliefs or ethnicity. I am sure there were some idiots out there who tarred the muslim community with the same brush but I dont believe CG to be one of them. I am not a religious person, generally dont 'flaunt' that fact and am respectful of others who choose to follow that path. However, when the Hebdo thing happened, there were alot of angry people, and rightly so, what happened was a disgrace and a slap in the face to what they believe is their own religious beliefs more than anyone elses. But that tweet, although stupid to post it, im sorry but in the grand scheme of things, its not worth reporting on.

I think if he gets this group of players playing well and has any ideas moving forward with regards to youth, tactics, transfer targets, he'd more than likely get an extension. Hell, he may get an extension just for getting us to the playoffs!

Thank goodness for that. It would have been rather foolish to continue to prolong the agony of having KMD in charge. Not keen on him staying on as No. 2 but I wont grumble about it. Less than a week in and they're listening to fans, strangly satisfying feeling.

See when I said there was no one down for the preview...psychic! I wouldnt be much use to it myself being a young whipper snapper (I cant really get away with saying that anymore, more like senile and forgetful early in life!), but an archive/history section being more prominent sounds like a good idea. By more prominent I mean aside from the articles section, something along the lines of a player/team focus of yesteryear featured on the main page each month, facts/statistics from memorable seasons gone by, even the not so memorable seasons to show how the club has its ups and downs in the past and not only now! One suggestion I do have with regards to revamping the page is to have all of the links to other websites (Rangers First, Rangers Standard, SPFL) in its 'own' section, if you like, and all the same size, rather than some up the side and others down at the bottom..unless there's a reason for this, just a suggestion.
