Im glad he is sorting his life out, a very brave decision and i applaud it. But i think its too little to late for him, his under-performing was bad, but you cannot act like (allegedly) under a new manager hoping for a fresh start.

Im hopeful that Hutton will pull up his socks and become a better player, it might have been a question of fitness after the leg break that saw him go off track a bit but with a good pre-season under the new regime he can improve. Himself and Burke work great together on the right and that could be a key partnership in the future. Ricksen should never have been allowed back into the RB position once he had played in midfield, he just never ever looked comfortable there. I must admit ive never heard of this guy but as PLG seems to be taking players in he already knows im going to trust in his judgement.

Exactly, thats what makes me happy about reading things like this. Eck didnt get as much respect as he should have demanded in some of his players. Im not saying its his fault, its a two-way street.... im just glad the players now know whats expected of them.

Yeah Ibrahimovic didnt have a good world cup, but he certainly isnt over rated, very skillful IMO. Same goes with Ronaldo, i dont think he had as bad a world cup as people think, first game definately, but Adriano was a whole lot worse, i think the reason Ronaldo is getting pelters is because we expected alot more from him since he was top scorer in 2002. Id take a 'fat' Ronaldo any day if he'd score goals like he did against Japan. Robinho was great for about the first 2 months at Real then lost it a bit, he hasnt lived up to the price-tag yet.... but he's got the time to prove it.

Im glad Bernard has been sent packing, too high a wages on a very mediocre player. Thats an absolute farce mate. Quite glad I dont live down there, cause i would probably have a season ticket too and have to put up with that level of service. You could see them having a problem with new 'members' but not for someone who has had season tickets for as long as you have.
