Ten defenders?.... bit OTT. I was hoping Stevie Smith would get a shout since its only for the meet up and not actually playing any games. Midfield is a little weak too IMO but the rest of the squad is looking good.

Id like to see PLG give the boy a game or two through the middle to see what he can do before he decides to let him go. But as always.... ill trust in his decisions since its still the begining of his reign.

I remember he (Davidson) was getting a few games a couple seasons ago but i never really thought much of him tbh, McCormack looked a better player to me. But who knows, maybe a loan deal is just what he needs

I think Sebo might have bee brought in to play the 'gap' role that Buffel plays more than the striker role. Didnt really see much of him to judge myself but ive heard he's pacy, strong and has a good eye for goal, perfect for the attacking midfielder role i think. Although its good we have the option to play him as a striker too. Id like to see him and Body start a game to see how they get on, if it doesnt work out then so be it but worth a shot i think.

PLG is making friends at the top i see, after another Man Utd player..... maybe paving the way for him to take over from SAF in a few years. Hope we are able to get both those players cause if Fanfan leave too we are going to be short at the back come injury (injuries to the players i mean) time.

He'll start the next game. I dont really pay attention to whats said in newspapers these days because it could be taken out of context. Even if he is running out of patience, thats a good thing that he has the desire to play for the club. I think thats the case with alot of Chairmen though, although some love the game and want sucess for themselves and the club.... alot of them are just in it for the money. Abramovich (sp?) is in it for a game of Subbteo just for the hell of it, lol. But id be quite happy if i was a Villa fan at the moment.

You cant?.... i can, it happens with all managers who have a bad start with a high profile team. BUT.... 5 points out of 9 is not bad for us considering all of the chances we squander away, we're lucky to have those points. No one's lost all faith in PLG though Dunn, and if they have then they dont understand the words 'Support YOUR Team'. I have every faith in PLG and i like the way he lays out the team. Its a foreign language to the players, just getting used to their positions and how their team mates play, but they will come good.

I might stick a wee wager on 'pool winning it this year. They have a great mix in their squad, whether its good enough to hold off the rest is another matter though...

Well if its Buba thats saying he's signed.... by my calculations with his 'Sebo in 24 hrs' deally....Martin will be ours by the middle of next week. I think he can play on the left and the right, i heard that at least.
