He turned our season around when he was first installed as manager as i think DA had lost the dressing room. He was very sucessful considering that he was no doubt taken in by Mr Murray to balance the books. Wish him all the best also. Im kinda hoping he gets a job in the Championship to see what he can do down there.

Looks to me like Newcastle just bided their time. I dont think this deal was done before he left Rangers. Rangers are the only ones to blame for a player wages that he clearly wasnt earning.

I think its a pretty good deal for Arsenal actually, Gallas is a good player and versatile too. I kind of expected them to get a bit more money with it but i wouldnt be too unhappy with what they got.

How do you know he's better than Papac? Eck was the one that started messing Fan-Fan about in the first place. He was a central defender but then he moved him onto the right side and was shite then so he was dropped. Gotta admit when i saw him in pre-season games when he first came i thought he was great and would be a mainstay. But really he didnt perform good enough at all in competative games.
