There's no doubt that when Clement is in the team, Barry does play better. I remember last season people were saying Barry is shite and when he was in the team with Albertz/Gio/De Boer thats what made him look good. Totally disagree with that, true he does under perform from time to time but when he has good players round about him, he's just as good as them and it brings out the best in him IMO.

100% agree there. The defense and fans have more confidence in McGregor than they do in Letizi.... and that was shown when his name was being sang out by the fans during the game, which in turn will give him more confidence.

Smith did very well both getting forward and when needed in defence last night. I only remember him being beat once at the very begining. Other than that he seemed to get the ball away pretty comfortably, whether it be by hoffing it up the pitch or out for a corner.

Smith, Clement, Barry, Novo, Mcgregor and Hemdani all get the plaudits from me. Hutton looked better tonight too. There wasnt enough Rangers players getting in the box for my liking though but thats my only gripe really. Novo worked his ass off yet again, he was all over the place. Now carry that performance into the league.... and keep McGregor in goals!!!

Aye, i dont think he'll be back on in the 2nd half unless he gets strapped up or something. They're pretty dangerous going forward, and i have no confidence in Svensson right now, they're by passing the midfield a little too easily for my liking too.

Ive got to say, i had high hopes for Buffel this season. He was looking good towards the end of last year being the creative force but has only shown that in very slight glimpses this season.

To be fair BF is starting to show a little more why he is captain, there's always room for improvement though.... in some players, dramatic improvement is needed.
