I agree they probably shouldnt be selling that picture.... but that wasnt the moment that decided his fate.

The difference there though is WS and AM (along with TB) have proved that they work well together, long may it continue!

Gersnet Analysis: Sir Davie McFly and Short-termism

Is Smith here til the end of the season or for 3 years?... ive heard both. If he's here for more than this season then i doubt he will carry on as Scotland manager full time. Maybe he'll switch role's with Mr Burns, not the guy from the simpsons. -
I think you're looking a bit too far into that one Koeman mate, they might have been talking about how good Still Game was on New Years eve.
-
I thought another name yesterday was colshy actually. Not cause of the apostrophies though, i never paid that much attention to the posts, lol.
-
I dont think the 'legendary' status would disappear at all if they dont suceed in this spell. Everyone can see what a state the club is in at the moment so anyone who could put the blame at WS and AM's feet are wrong.

As captain? Maybe in time (if he signs on for more than this season) but not right now. Prso gets my vote right now, after him i dont know. Novo maybe but only because he shows so much heart for the team and give 100% all the time, although it doesnt always work out for him.
-
Totally agree with all that. He'd be out on his arse before the day was out if he ever tried to do the same thing with WS.
-
Agreed, he has been a real disappointment, i think we could probably get back what we spent on him though so id move him on in this transfer window.

I dont think any fan can be confident right now, no matter who it was/is that got the job. We had one of the most sought afer managers in europe and that didnt work out so whoever is coming in has a massive job of turning things around. I think (i hope) bringing in those two will get us back on track a little bit, all the scottish boys at the club certainly know what these guys mean to Rangers and the fans. -
Whilst i still dont agree with him leaving, its hard not to agree with you there Jim.
-
Never even thought of that.... i can hear it now, lol.
-
Lets hope he doesnt have anything else in that Irn-Bru when we win a cup. THAT Clip Thats right... i said WHEN we win a cup, ever the optimist.
-
Even if you tried REALLY hard, you couldnt have made that sound more disgusting. *shudders*
-
Love the guy, thats a great reply... and all the more pleasing hearing that runt was ragin afterwards.

If it is before Monday, then todays events were definately a few days in waiting.

With the exception of Letizi (i doubt he will play ever again for us) im going to reserve judgement on PLG's signings and see how they play under the new management, whoever it may be. Let's see if they can adapt to the scottish game better than they have done. Im always optimistic when it comes to the Rangers... a bit too optimistic at times im afraid.

He has pulled the wool over our eyes for a long time. But like i said, lots of things are going wrong all at once and eventually he'll start being the one getting the finger pointed at rather than the team, unless he plows his own money into the club (sarcasm ahead)... and i can reeeally see that happening.

One thing in my mind is certain. David Murray HAS to get it right this time. Every single fan at one time or another has has their spirits raised by him only to have them crashing down to a huge low. But it has happened too often in the past few years and the whole club are suffering more and more. We cannot continue to get beat by the 'lesser' (for want of a better word) teams in the SPL week in week out. If he gets it wrong yet again, more and more fans are going to start realising that the blame doesnt only lye at the Managers/Players feet, but more at the men at the top who employ them all.

Answers like 'who the fuck cares' and the like need not apply thanks. I hear PSG are on the lookout for a new manager. He used to play for them so that would be my guess unless there's a job open that i dunno about.
-
Agreed there, he got it back way too fast/easily on his return from Blackburn. But like Jim i also dont think Rae should be captain, although i think it will stay with him, i think it should be Prso.
-
Must be watching a different player then cause IMO he has impressed me in more than just the 'odd' performance this season. Dont get me wrong, i dont agree with any player undermining the manager whether he is the captain or not, but i dont think he'll be going anywhere unless alot of fans take a severe disliking to him and he has no choice.

If you're right Cammy, ill never say a bad word about you again.... not that i said one anyway (honest). ....i didnt know DM was that clever, maybe crafty is the best suited word for it.
-
No surrender. It hard to take these blue tinted specs off.

Le Guen talked about taking in young scottish players though did he not? I think it probably was him that decided on taking them in but now that he's gone DM is going ahead and taking them in anyway as its obvious something else is needed to get the team back on track. Thats what imreading into it anyway.
