We should, but unfortunately we dont. Its Andrews commitment and fight we need on the park more than is playing skills.
-
Agree with that, i dont mind a manager being confident about his teams ability, but he is just too arrogant for words at times. Hiddink would be a good replacement IMO.
-
He probably has, but has/will never played for tic...unless he's Burchill in disguise.
-
Congrats to your boy Jon, that smile will probably on his face for a few days after an all.
-
He has impressed me in alot more than small doses, but i can see him maybe under-performing more now since PLG has left. I think he'll be gone in the summer.
-
Is that a tradition at new years parties over there? 'Yes you can have a drink.... but only after i break your ribs'.
-
Considering how desperate he was to join tic, either would i.
-
Just got a text that he's in talks with us. Anyone heard anything on this? I aint seen anything. (apart from the text. )

Ligament damage? Bloody hell, anything but that would have been better. I thought we needed to get a second defender in anyway, but now we definately need one. Poor guy.
-
The thing is, you'd expect Sebo to fit right into the scottish game, he's a big, fast guy who puts himself about, thats pretty much whats needed in the SPL. Bit more skill and luck and he'll be fine, i dont know if he'll get the time for that though. I'd rather keep him til the summer at least and see if the new coaching team can get something outta him.

Tempers were running high yesterday, they're still there, just simmered down a little waiting for something to happen. Glad to see no one got banned last night, lol. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, it not shining too brightly at the moment but hopefully we'll get some people in to sort that out and freekin blind us with that light. WATP.

I read on sky sports or sporting life (cant remember which) that Hearts wanted £5m for him..... i would have been surprised, but its Hearts, nothing surprises me about them these days.
-
Good point my man, he would probably have been higher up the 'odds-on' table if he had left then.
-
Big money movie deal is it? Good to hear we've signed at least one defender. But like others have said, we still need an experienced defender in there, otherwise we'll have a very young, relativly inexperienced back 4, if its Hutton, Svensson, Webster and Smith.

I was wondering who SDM was when you wrote in another thread, now i know, lol. Yeah i pretty much agree with what you're saying. I dont think as many fans as you say were so keen on Eck, not anyone i spoke to anyway at that time. But by the end of the first season (which we knew the league was out of reach) getting the other trophies, the doubters warmed to him. In the end he was more sucessful than not, what with having not alot of money to play with. In hindsight, he should have left a season earlier, but i still admire the guy.

Agreed, everyone will be getting behind the team (and hopefully BF when he plays) to try and get us back on track. I dont think the PLG/BF saga is quite over yet though.... its gonna hang around like a bad smell until something official comes out on it. Probably sometime in 2009.

No there isnt, and yes, i am going by what ive read over the past few days. But at the same time, he hasnt exactly come out and said he didnt do anything wrong, or has he? (maybe i missed something). I was going by what biggordy said. Players should air their grievences in private to the manager/chairman, not do it in public, when that happens the press are all over it and it makes it more difficult for the teams spirit which is already shot.
-
Oh ok, sorry, got my wires crossed. I was begining to think he was more injury prone than Burkey!!
-
Hartson and Viduka? I never knew that was happening, a bit old but a strong forward line they'll have... if not a little slow.
-
Is Martin still with us? I thought he left with Bardsley, is he injured or what?
-
No he shouldn't, the manager is the boss and what he say's goes. Nothing to do with the managers incompetance being brought into the open, we could all see from September that the manager was getting it wrong. What Fergie did, IMO, was disruptive of an already bad situation.
-
Naive of me to believe that PLG didnt leave because Boyd was backing Fergie? It was known before he came to the club that he was a pretty strict guy, and he showed that very soon after he joined by making an example of Ricksen. He again showed it by dropping Fergie. Of course that played a part in him leaving, but IMO all these fans outside the team bus after that game shouting at him to go home would have been the more evident part. Im not having a go at PLG, i never wanted to see him go and the team let him down badly with their performances and some of their attitudes. But at the same time, you cant overlook the fact that he just wasnt getting the results for us and that, over any manager or player, is the most crucial for me.

McCall Going Nowhere (for this season at least)
Laudbertz replied to Laudbertz's topic in Rangers Chat
So do i, i think he's just saying what he's saying just now incase he's not asked to come back to Rangers. -
I think we'll get him in the summer if he's needed.
-
From what i remember the most he spent was 1.2m on Clement and 1.8m on Sebo and Papac 700k(?), might be wrong though, memory aint too good.
